I desperately want to find something that gives my spirit wings. I haven't found it yet but Jo Malone French Lime Blossom layered with Diptyque Olene is close. Why, oh why, when what I want is a flighty floral, do my skin and nose keep telling me spice and incense - Piper Nigrum, Avignon, Kyoto, Douce Amere and even that silly Crazilibellule Encens Mystic all adore me. I feel like Scarlett O'Hara, yearning after Ashley Wilkes when I could have Rhett for the taking. Wishes are prayers for the non-religious – and my best wishes are with your mother.

As a perfume newbie, I’m still happily working my way through a shedload of samples ordered in my quest for the perfect spring scent. I desperately want to find something that gives my spirit wings. I haven’t found it yet but Jo Malone French Lime Blossom layered with Diptyque Olene is close.

Why, oh why, when what I want is a flighty floral, do my skin and nose keep telling me spice and incense – Piper Nigrum, Avignon, Kyoto, Douce Amere and even that silly Crazilibellule Encens Mystic all adore me.
