At the back of my mind are thoughts like, "I'll have a well-paying job," or "My book will sell." Then I tell myself that it wouldn't work on me as well as on others. That's how I rescue myself from perdition. Last night I tried a sample of JAR Bolt of Lightning. From the first moment, I loved it, and to make matters worse, my DH loved it. He decided immediately that it was unisex. "It's very expensive," I warned him. "How expensive?" I looked it up and broke the news to him. He looked crestfallen. Then something good happened a half hour after I'd dabbed on the fragrance. "Smell my arm," I asked him. "Faint, no?" I was doing a little Snoopy dance, and he didn't understand why. "It vanishes on me! I won't be dying to get it!"
