Cheap florals smell like Glade room spray - they can be nauseatingly cloying. I mean, lilac ... rose ... horrible done on the cheap. But something like Estee Lauder Aliage or (original) Azuree or Youth Dew, or Clinique Aromatics Elixir? They are practically giving those things away, and assuming you can take the strength they smell great. My opinion only — I could see cheap orientals or chypres being better to smell than cheap florals. Cheap florals smell like Glade room spray – they can be nauseatingly cloying.
