That is, until she sold it, and it got knocked down to be replaced by five crappy McMansions. I don't think any of them even have porches. I bemoan the loss of that house and its memories; the worst part being that I can't ever take my husband to show him what large chunks of my childhood looked like. Sigh :-< I'll stop wallowing long enough to point out that I spent my weekend engaged in that other time-honored hot weather activity: washing the family cars. Only took the whole blasted weekend to get them both clean, but it will take at least a month to get my nails back into shape!
