Atlantic Ambergris, Oud Picante, Flux de Fleur and Inverno RussoAreej Le Dore as four new releases –  Atlantic Ambergris, Oud Picante, Flux de Fleur and Inverno Russo.  I have them, I smelled them, and I am in love.  I love what  Russian Adam is doing here – limited batches with ethically sources raw materials created once.  And they are potent and amazing.

We had (operative word) 40 sample sets yesterday to sell at STC, and we sold them all in like a few hours.  BUT!  I have one sample set I held back for meeeee!!

If you already know you want a full bottle, you can pre-order them at his website.   He will also have sample sets available too, but the shipping will be pricier since they are coming international if you are in the U.S.  I love his work.

For a much longer and in-depth review, head over to Kafkaesque.  Lots more detail on progression, development, notes.  My comment is I love them all. They are unique, beautiful and potent.  They are pricey, but you only need a drop. Trust me.

So I can squeak out one small sample set out of mine for a drawing. So drop a comment to be entered.  I probably will do an additional drawing once I have full bottles of all of them.  I have heard a rumor that there is a Siberian Musk Intense coming later this year. I don’t know if that’s correct or not, but given the potency of the original, I’ll be in nervous suspense waiting for it.  So which of the four most interest? I’ll do a drawing from all commenters here for my tiny sample set from my sample set.

  • Audrey Esko says:

Oh. I wanted to buy a set and proof gone.
    Russian winter sounds great!

  • Mariann says:

I love to try all of them but especially the Atlantic Ambergris! They sound fantastic.

  • Jordi says:

Russian Winter is the most evocative to me, I would sure love to try it.

  • MikasMinion says:

I was too late on the sample sets so I’m super excited there might still be a chance for me to sample. I think Flux de Fleur sounds right up my alley but I’m almost always wrong at reading notes.

  • Valerie says:

I own and ADORE Siberian Musk, so I have been dying to try Russian Adam’s new scents! My interest is especially peaked by Flux de Fleur and Atlantic Ambergris. And yes, the sample sets are already sold out on StC.

  • maggiecat says:

The Atlantic Ambergris is casting a spell, especially as cooler weather approaches. Ijust think one should wear frankincense as the holidays approach, y’know?

  • HeidiC says:

These all sound remarkable — but especially Flux de Fleur and Atlantic Ambergris.

  • Lemoncake says:

These all sound fantastic and perfect for the cool/cold weather. The descriptions are so tempting….makes me want a full bottle of at least one!

  • Shiva-wman says:

I have been following Kafkaesque’s blog on oud and just felt like it was amazing and all out of reach. As much as K has broken it down, they all sound exotic and hard to choose among. I’d be happy with any of these. Thank you for the drawing! I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled; I didn’t even check to see if these were through STC because they seemed so unobtainable.

  • Kate E. says:

Even though my nose is probably not sophisticated enough for these, please enter me in the draw! Oud Picante is whispering promises to me but they all sound magical!

  • Barbara B. says:

What an enthusiastic review! Inverno Russo sounds most intriguing to me. Thanks for sharing!

  • Jennifer S. says:

Wow. Such exotic sounding fragrances! The one I am drawn to is the Atlantic Ambergris. Thanks for the sampling chance!

  • Kandice says:

Inverno Russo sounds the most intriguing to me, but I love you’re giving us the opportunity to try all of them. I will have to keep my eyes on STC to see when I can order samples from there as well. I have never heard of this line so thanks for the introduction.

  • Jirish says:

The Russian winter one is the most intriguing for me.

  • Fleurycat says:

These sound devastatingly beautiful! I would be happy to try ANY of them. The Flux de Fleur and
Inverno Russo would probably be my first picks, but then many of the notes in Atlantic Ambergris are favorites, and honestly I continue to be surprised by what I like. They all just sound luscious and unique. I would love to be included in the draw.

  • Kathleen Smith says:

Thank you for the drawing and willingness to share your samples! I need to read more about all of these fragrances. The heart notes of Inferno Russo are some of my favorites!

  • Thanks for the draw! I’d love to try them.

  • RoseMacaroon says:

You’re so kind and lovely to share! They all sound really amazing. I’d say Atlantic Ambergris greatly appeals to me. Thanks for the chance, and for putting this line on my radar!

  • Koyel says:

Uh, wow, you’ve really sold me with these fabulous descriptions. These sound amazing!

I think the Oud Picante sounds the most wonderful, possibly because of your description, which makes it sound life-changing. Thanks!

  • Jeanne says:

You always tempt me so with your descriptions. I’d love to try any!

  • Tiara says:

The notes seem so exotic! If I had to choose, it would be a coin toss between Atlantic Ambergris and Flux de Fleur. I think.

  • Tara C says:

Thanks for the drawing! Atlantic Ambergris and Inverno Russo sound the most enticing to me.

  • Kim B says:

Siberian musk was amazing! Would love to try all of these new ones but especially ambergris one

  • Grizzlesnort says:

Wow! After all you’ve sniffed, You! You are excited by these! That’s enough for me. Please enter me in your draw. They sound terrific.

  • I haven’t tried anything from Areej le Dore but they sound interesting. I’d be interested in any of them, but I guess if I had to pick a couple, I’d go with Flux de Fleur and Inverno Russo

  • Scott says:

OMG, they all sound amazing. Inverno and Flux are calling my name, but I am a real oud fan abd am eager to see what magic Russian Adam has whipped up.

  • nicevulady says:

Inverno Russo sounds amazing, but then they all sound amazing. Flux de Fleur also sounds incredible. Thanks for this chance as I would so like to try any of them.

  • Bastet says:

These all sound incredible but I suppose if I had to pick just one it would be the fleuriental because I generally love this kind of perfume.

  • Tamryn says:

These all sound stunning. I hadn’t even heard about this company. Inverno Russian sounds the best for me, but each one is very appealing. Thank you.

  • Taxi says:

These sound so enticing. Loved the descriptions – the juice must be phenomenal. Love to try it.

  • Sarah says:

Winter is my favorite season. Here in Northern NJ it feels like we have only 10 days of it anymore. Real Winter. Ground Frozen. Mufflers necessary. So Inverno Russo sounds hopeful. Thinking of your sweet pups. How about one of them in a draw? 🙂

  • ScentSpirit says:

I’m not sure why “Russian” pine sounds so much more pine-y than any other kind of pine, but I’m up for it.

  • Maya says:

Areej Le Dore is a line I seriously want to try! Everything I have heard is positive. They all have notes that I really really like. I’ll go with Atlantic Ambergris first and Flux de Fleur second.

  • Janet in California says:

You had me at “dark Sumatran oud soaked in coconut water” Flux de Fleur. They all sound very interesting!

  • eldarwen22 says:

The Russian one sounds more up my alley and I’m willing to give the Atlantic a go because pine isn’t something used in perfumery that often.

  • Judy says:

What a choice! The oud and Atlantic call out the most strongly but their sisters are right there too!
