Yes! Those comments! I feel like perfume becomes the easy target because it’s more noticeable, when 80% of the fragrance market goes toward scenting things that *aren’t* perfume, and often to make stuff smell “unscented” (which is not the same thing as fragrance-free). Their sensitivity is probably due to an environmental overload of white musks, not my Mitsouko.

This is a fun read. I’m intrigued by the thought of longing being the basis of a passion for scent, I’ll have to meditate on that for a bit.
