I’m going to put up a link to this post on the left side of the blog, called Caron bottle splits, and I will keep it updated on what bottle splits are open and which are not. If you are interested in splits that we are done with, please e-mail me, and I’ll put you on the list for a future split when there is enough interest. I am going to do far fewer splits going forward. Any bottle splits in the future will require taking at least 15 mls of the fragrance.
Farnesiana — done
Tabac Blond — done.
Poivre — done.
En Avion — done.
Narcisse Blanc — done.
Coup de Fouet — Done .
Or et Noir — Done.
Acacosia — Will be trying to do this bottle split in March. It’s a jasmine perfume that’s been compared to Jasmin full. I haven’t ever smelled this one, so it would be new to me!
N’aimez Que Moi — done.
Pois de Senteur — done.
Alpona — Done.
French Cancan — done
Per ml cost, if we can do a 200 ml bottle is $2.60.
For a 100 ml bottle split, the cost is $3.40 per ml.
There are some additional costs per package — postage, decanting bottles, paypal fees, etc., which add about 10-15 cents per ml to the cost.
Let me know if you are interested in any of them by e-mailing me at pgeissler at gmail dot com.
Let me know if Or et Noir or Tabac Blond come up again for splits
I would love to be part of the Acaciosa split.
thanks so much!
I’d definitely be interested in getting in on the Acasiosa split if possible. Thank you!!
Amy
Is there any Acaciosa left? Am hoping to take part, if it is possible!
I’m not sure how this works either..new to the site, but I have tried Acaciosa and would like to take part in a split.
Count me in on the Acacosia! Although I never have gotten the famed pineapple note; love the jasmine.
Christine
I would definitely be interested in the Narcisse Blanc and Acocasia, but am totally new to this!
Hi Patty,
I’d like 10 ml of the Poivre and the same of N’Aimez Que Moi! Thanks, Sarah
Hi, Patty – I don’t know if I’m too late in coming across this –(Best idea ever, by the way!)– but I would very much love to be included in a bottle split on Tabac Blond and Poivre (if these are still happening). Thanks, and let me know what you need, Meg
I was at the Perfume House is Portland over the holidays and smelled a small almost empty bottle of Tabac Blond Extrait. The liquid was very dark. I’m sure it must’ve been there for years. They wouldn’t let me try it, but, it smelled incredible.
It did not smell anything like a sample I tried from a lovely swapper of what was purportedly the extrait. The sample was a much lighter fluid and it dried down to powdery base, which, though lovely, seemed surprisingly tame given the talk of it being a daring fragrance for the modern independent role-busting woman.
The extrait at the Perfume House was a highly concentrated liquor, dark and deep in character as well as color. Maybe it would end in a powdery dry down as well but this would surprise me as it had a balsamic …astringency, or bitterness in the smell, although it was extremely rich, also, but not sweet.
The sample, on the other hand, was a smooth suedey leather with what I think of as a classic powdery sweetish (to me, and I don’t tolerate sweetness well) dry-down.
I was wondering if you could tell me if there is a difference btwn extraits and parfums? What i found on the net about this says they are the same but my experience of the two tabacs has me confused. Can you solve the mystery? I’m wondering about the Tabac Blond Extrait you are about to order and which of these I’ve tried it is closest to…in your guesstimation?
SEcondly, what is the minimum allowable order of the Carons?
Many thanks! Rachel

Hi Patty,
I am BRAND NEW to this, so don’t really know what to do or how to calculate my costs, but I am very interested in that 5 ml or so of Farnesiana you have left. If it is still available please let me know what you need.
Thank-you,
Sandy
