Whether you celebrate the religious side of Christmas or just the holiday or do not celebrate it at all, it is my most deepest wish for each of you to always have the hope Christmas represents and all of your fragrant wishes for gifts come true.
“Any one thinking of the Holy Child as born in December would mean by it exactly what we mean by it; that Christ is not merely a summer sun of the prosperous but a winter fire for the unfortunate.” G.K. Chesterton
Next week I’ll be talking about New Year’s and running and discipline and asking y’all to join me in a little running program. Well… think about it, it will be fun! Listen, if my sorry, well-padded, 48-year-old peri-menopausal butt that hasn’t run since high school can start logging running time, and I started this last week, anyone can. Be there, Aloha, and…
Run, baby, run! 🙂
Hugs!

Happy Christmas, love the quote, pictures and the new site look. very nice
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! Much love to you and yours, P! Sorry – not a snowball’s chance (and yeah, I’m talking about those rubbery chocolate, marshmallow and coconut covered ones) that I’ll go running with you. But I’d love to get caught up in your passing sillage!
Not religious, but I do like the meaning of Christmas, in the real sense, not all the spending, etc. The gift of spending time with those you love, keeping it beautifully simple, that’s my thing. It’s probably 78 degrees here in Los Angeles, funny thing to imagine Christmas here. Anyway, I too thank you for the gift that is this lovely site. Today I chose to wear Rousse. I am a runner, so I’d love to do this running thing with you.
Merry Christmas, hon! Thanks for all your kindness. And humor. And gentle teasing. And blog instruction. Hey … how do you get that space around the image again? /:)

Merry Christmas! I loved the Chesterton quote. Light and warmth to everyone, whether in the midst of winter or in midsummer. (I’ve sometimes wondered if the Posse has Southern Hemisphere readers.)
I’ve been looking forward to wearing a vintage treasure today: Caron Voeu de Noel. The name means Christmas Vow. A Christmas Vow sounds more solemn and more loving than a New Year’s resolution. In either case, mine will not involve running.
Hugs to all. >:d<
Merry happy to you, too. Today, my stepmom is finally out of intensive care. I’m off to hospital to bring her a holiday milkshake. This may sound dismal to some but it’s miraculous to me. Enjoy your day, whatever it brings. And as Charayamaya said, in the dark & cold of winter, light to you & yours.
PS NOT the R word! A friend at our annual Xmas Eve movies & salty food fest quit smoking and presto, turned into a marathon runner. *shudder*
Merry Christmas, God Bless and may all your fragrant wishes come true.
And the not so smelly ones too.
xo
Merry merry Christmas! May the fragrant gods bring you everything you desire and my your loved ones be merry and love you back.
Merry Christmas, Posse!
Chaya said it so well already (as usual)
and I’ll drink to just about anything…
so heres to Light in the darkness and something to believe in!
My Christmas SOTD will be a layering of 2 Holy grails:
Hermes Hiris and Creed Santal Imperial. Divinity atomized.
How bout you?!
Happy Holidays Perfume Posse! Not to be too sappy but this site is a real gift in my life, and so, thanks for everything… It’s a great little part of every day! And just to share a brief moment of perfume happiness, I was shopping for others and gifted MYSELF with the gorgeous Pomegranate Noir by Jo Malone and with its frankincense and dark fruits, peppers and woods and tree sap, I feel it was a serendipitous meeting as it will certainly be my Christmas fragrance of the day! Giant hugs to all! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Back at you, my beauty.
There’s a reason all organized religions’ major holidays just HAPPEN to coincide with Winter Solstice-
We need light in the darkness, and something to believe in.
Blessings to you and yours.
