The blog was down when I was around yesterday, so no real post today. Plus, I have a cold that has now managed to block up my sinuses and destroy my sense of smell – the words of wisdom (ha) about Dzongkha, Baume du Doge and other Duchaufour marvels will have to wait. As will my readjustments regarding Poivre 23… But the winners of the samples are Kathleen and Helelnviolette – ladies, you both have mail. Thanks again, Lee. I hope this finds you feeling a bit better. Looking forward to your words of wisdom on “Doggy Bottoms” (Baume du Doge)which I was lucky enough to get a small decant of. There is something familiar about it, but I haven’t been able to put my finger on it yet. Big shot of cardamom & fennel up front. Must say it is persistant and I love the incensey drydown.
