Andy Tauer Drawing –

It’s always a pleasure when Andy Tauer has a new perfume, and he so generously offers to perfume blogs the chance for one of their readers to win a bottle.

Hey, today’s that day!  He has two new perfumes coming out that are debuting in Florence at Pitti Fragranze this weekend.  You know, I tried to figure out how to go to that thing, but just couldn’t come up with the time or a good enough reason, though going to Florence really is reason enough.

Oh, sorry, got travel distracted!  The winner (one of you commenters) will pick a bottle of one of the two new fragrances, which Andy will ship to you.

Scent N0. 12-EAU D’ÉPICES, eau de parfum, in the classic blue Tauer 50 ml flacon.

  • HEAD NOTES     An Indian basket of spices with cinnamon, cardamom, clove and coriander with red mandarines.
  • HEART NOTES   An opulent heart of orange blossom, jasmine, orris root and incense.
  • BODY NOTES     A woody cistus ladaniferus resin, softened with ambergris, Tonka beans and vetiver.

Available worldwide end September, about 120 $US

Scent No. 10-UNE ROSE VERMEILLE, eau de parfum, in a new 30 ml flacon, presented for the first time in Florence, September 10.

  • HEAD NOTES     A citrus chord with lemon and bergamot with a whisper of lavender.
  • HEART NOTES   Sumptuous bouquets of roses and violets, kissed by luscious raspberries.
  • BODY NOTES     The richness of vanilla, sandalwood and Tonka beans, touched by the elegance of ambergris.

Available worldwide end September, about 130 $US

Okay, discuss. Which one are you most looking forward to?  I kept thinking No. 12 first, just because the spice notes sound so amazing, and I like spice perfumes more than rose perfumes, but that rose perfume doesn’t sound that traditional and has some real potential, especially with the violets and the basenotes.

I’ll post the winner next Thursday to give you guys plenty of time to comment and be entered.

  • Kathryn says:

Hope it’s not to late to enter the draw! It’s a hard choice, but I guess I’m most looking forward to Eau d’Epices because it’s seems like it’s charting some new territory in Andy Tauer’s body of work. But I am torn. Tauer’s other roses are pretty wonderful.

  • Philyra says:

They both sound intriguing and I’m not sure which one of these new releases I’ll love more. Especially when my most favourites of Andy’s line are so different – L’Air du Desert Marocain and Une Rose Chypree. Oh, how could I forget Lonestar Memories? This one is absolutely gorgeous as well.

Please enter me into the draw.

  • smelly says:

I admire all fragrances from Andy and I collect them ( how strange).
So….these two need a good place to stay.
I will be good to them :)
The gourmand rose makes me drool but the spices also. Sorry I am addicted and cannot choose.

    Enter me please.

  • Amy K says:

They both sound fabulous, but I’m most excited about Une Rose Vermeille. Please enter me!

  • Elise says:

I’d go for the spice! Spice Spice Spice!

    please enter me…

  • Bob says:

Une Rose Vermeille sounds right up my alley but I could be completely wrong! Really looking forward to trying these.

Yes, please enter me for the draw.

  • Bellatrix says:

    No 10.
I made several (trials) perfumes which are spicy and they turned out to be pretty bad hahah, so spicy perfume (no 12) will bring bad memories hahaha. I am sure he made them both perfectly!

  • BBJ says:

    Oooh. Enter me!

And definitely the spices, not only because the cardamom, coriander and orange blossom are enough to win my heart forever, but also because violets scare me.

  • Mimi Gardenia says:

I am a huge fan of Andy Tauer- these sounds delectable. Please enter me for the drawing. :)

  • Heidi says:

Oh Andy Tauer, how so dreamy???

I find spices turn or strengthen too much on me, but I can imagine Andy making one that works.

That rose though sounds GORGEOUS. I have been on a rose and violet kick! I am wearing Sonoma Scent Studio’s Lieu de Reves today and it’s very pretty, with a nice, slightly powdery vanilla on the bottom.

I’d love to be submitted in this drawing. My love to Andy for sharing! I think it speaks highly of his interest in perfume as an artform, in the way he is so quick to enjoy and share it with others.

  • rednails says:

Wow, I’d love to try either!

  • Linda says:

Oh! Oh, I want to play! I’d love to be in the draw for No 12 Eau d’Epices! And No 10 sounds divine, too. I love Andy’s scents so much.

  • you smell!!! says:

I think I’d choose No 12 Eau d’Epices, now that weather is changing is going to be perfect.
Thanks for entering my name in the drawing.

  • Kym says:

I have to say that No. 12 Eau d’Epices sounds interesting. I recently tried the last Tauer and am completely in love with it’s oddness (the LOTV). It’s impossible to tell what something will smell like from the notes, but it was a matter of “I love spices and anything exotic that might put me in a faraway land,” and “I have never met a berry in a fragrance that I’ve liked.”

  • Olivia says:

Hmm… I keep wanting to go for the Eau D’Epices, but something about Une Rose Vermeille is really pulling me – it does sound like a non-traditional rose, and I’m really curious about how Andy has treated it! Really, it sounds… tasty. (Not foody, but… just… delicious somehow! :-) ) Plus I’m probably attracted to it because of its Florentine release (I love that city!) heehee. So yes. Leaning more toward Une Rose Vermeille! :-)

Thanks for hosting the draw! (please enter me?)

  • Irina says:

I think no. 12- ever since Andy announced its release, I keep thinking about how great it should be for winter/fall
    please, enter me the draw

  • k-scott says:

Please enter me in the draw!

  • Gina says:

Eau D’Epices calls to me. Please enter me in the drawing.

  • janjan says:

What a great drawing! I am so very much looking forward to EAU D’ÉPICES, perfect for this fall, I think.

  • Simone says:

Do I really have to choose between AT’s spices and roses?
    I’d love to try both, actually… ;)

  • Abyss says:

Exciting! I don’t know if it’s the weather/time of the year but EAU D’ÉPICES is particularly appealing. Both sound like they’d be worth trying anyway!

  • Chris says:

No doubt I will sniff both at some point. But Eau d’Epices is the one I’m hoping is FBW. It sounds perfect. Please add me to the draw!

  • bouginvillia says:

I looove spice scents. Please enter me into your drawing!

  • Dana says:

No. 12 does sound great! Actually, I would be thrilled to win either one. Please include me in the draw.

  • Nancy says:

:x Oh, number 12. I love the spice aspect. And I love Andy.

Please enter me into this drawing.

    Merci,
    n

  • nereis says:

I seem to like the notes of No. 12 better, spices then orange blossom & orris sounds delicious.

  • Helge says:

I just love Andy Tauer! The bottle of L’air DDM I bought at Les Senteurs, London had a personal note from him, even though I didn’t order directly!

If I was to choose from one of the new scents, it’d be the spicy one — way to many roses lately. An haven’t even bought lipstick rose yet.. :)

  • Esther Hernandez says:

Scent No. 10-UNE ROSE VERMEILLE sounds exquisite I am always in the mood to feel feminine and classic and it sounds like Une Rose Vermeille balances both perfectly.

  • pyramus says:

    They both sound so yum!

But I would go for the spice, because as soon as you say “cloves” and “cistus ambergris tonka” in the same breath, well, I am so there.

  • Mary says:

Andy is a wonderful talent and is extremely personable– I wrote up a little snippet for the LOTV project, and he took the time to send such a nice little note. I’m totally keen on his line, and have a special fondness for cardamom– would love to be entered to try my luck at scoring samples of these. Otherwise, I will have to head back over to LuckyScent sooner than planned . . . .:)>-

  • Lilybug says:

Definitely 12 with spices and incense captures my interest. I find the thought of rose fragrances off-putting, even if I really enjoy some of them once wearing them. It’s hard to say which I’d actually appreciate more on skin.

  • Jared says:

No 12 sounds really interesting, especially since I’ve now come around to Malle’s Noir Epices. I’d love to compare and see how the two treat spices!

  • Scent Hive says:

I was initially thinking No 12 for the same reason as you, the spices sound heavenly! But the rose sandalwood combo has me very very intrigued. Either one would be fantastic!

  • Tom says:

I actually smelled the spice one when he was here in LA at ScentBar and I can state that it’s a total winner..

  • escritora says:

I think that no. 12 Eau D’Épices could be one of “mine” fragrances :) Evidently must-sniff.

  • momo says:

    *Deep sigh*
Knowing ANdy’s work, I’ll be more attracted to his spice-fest than his rose, but I’m sure both will be worth a snifter. WOuld love to be in for the drawing, thanks!

  • Chantal says:

Hope I can enter too, always loved what Tauer does :)

  • ladida says:

I can’t wait to sniff both of these. Thanks for the give-away!

  • ula says:

both of them can’t be bad, for sure, it’s A.Tauer! But with my distrust for roses, I’d go for the epices, seems warmer and cosier

  • Maha says:

I’m slightly more excited about the #12, since I love spices, but I love rose, too, and am always looking for a great new rose perfume. The base notes on this one sound terrific, the perfect thing to round out the citrusy top. So excited for these, and have my fingers crossed for the drawing! Thanks for hosting, and thanks, Andy Tauer, for being so generous!

  • Eric says:

I’m not sure which one I’d pick but I sure would love the chance to be pressured to choose. :P

  • Rosiegreen says:

I have been dying to try both of these, they both sound so delicious, but if I have to choose just one it would be #12, spices are my
    favorite.

  • florentina says:

What???!!! A perfume event IN Florence? Why did I not know this? I barely got back!!! grrrr!

How lovely of Andy Tauer and you to be doing this again and so soon after carillon pour un ange giveaway…I missed out last time and would love to be entered into the draw ; both perfumes sound wonderful but I imagine I might have a preference for rose vermeille … The names just slay me! Pure poetry which makes me long even more for the olfactory poetry that is sure to follow…
    :):)

  • Natalie says:

Geez, talk about Sophie’s Choice! Should the perfume gods be kind enough to smile upon me, I would have a real dilemma on my hands, but at the moment I’m leaning toward the Eau d’Epices. I’d be thrilled with either one, though.

  • Susan says:

Since I’ve never met a Tauer frag I didn’t like – would love to win #10. Violets, sandalwood & ambergris sound verrrrry interesting. And Andy can always be counted on to make rose dark, dirty, & mysterious. Rose wearing her bitch pants. In any event, I will have to buy samples of both frags.

  • Denise B says:

Um, and since I forgot to specify, that “A citrus chord with lemon and bergamot” can be found in Scent No. 10 …

  • Denise B says:

These both sound incredible! I’m sure I’d be delighted with either one, but now that summer is fading, “A citrus chord with lemon and bergamot” on a base that includes tonka and ambergris sounds like the perfect way to hang on just a little longer.

  • ggs says:

No. 12. I am all about the spices, especially in the Fall.

Favorite spicy scents in my collection : Serge Lutens Five O’Clock Au Gingembre, SL Rousse, DSH Cimabue, and Ayala Moriel Epice Sauvage.

  • kguess says:

would love to try #12 hope I’m a winner sound editable

  • Jenny S says:

So hard to pick which is more exiting! I think I’ll settle on no12, as I can’t get enough cardamom in scents. Thanks for the opportunity :)

  • Jirish says:

I am looking forward to both of these. My wallet is not. Unfortunately, I’m a big fan of Andy’s work and he’s been coming out with so much great stuff that it’s hard to keep up!

  • melanie says:

I am imagining wearing the Number 12 spice with a fuzzy burnt orange mohair sweater that I have almost finished knitting for myself. Please enter me in the drawing.

    thanks.

  • zeram1 says:

Even though I’m all about the roses, I still think that #12 w/ ambergris/orris root/cistus with the touch of vet sounds divine! Thank you for holding the draw.

  • Ninara Poll says:

I honestly cannot choose between the two; I love roses, and I love spices! Thank both you and Mr. Tauer for this drawing, and good luck, everyone!

  • Kathy says:

He had me at “An opulent heart of orange blossom, jasmine, orris root and incense.” Please enter me in drawing for EAU D’ÉPICES :)

  • gautami says:

I would love a chance to try either of them, although I am drooling for roses and raspberries.

  • AnnieA says:

Hmm, can one have too many spice perfumes? I think Etat’s Eau de Protection is sufficient for my Different Rose needs, at least for the nonce…

  • Kristin Sargent says:

Incense and spices do sound wonderfully tempting and would great for fall, but then roses with tonka and a whisper of citrus really grabbed my attention.

    Both sound terrific :)

  • Pantera Lilly says:

Must have one! Please enter me. Thank you.

  • Meesh says:

I think 12 sounds great, but it’s really a toss up until I get to smell them. Can’t wait!

  • Kitty says:

Please enter me in the drawing – they both sound fantastic. Can’t wait to try them.

  • Daniele says:

I’m going to say the no. 12 has piqued my interest the most. I love a rich, spicy perfume. On the other hand, the no. 10 sounds like a rosey scent that I might really like. Andy Tauer is one of my favourite perfumers; even the scents that aren’t ‘me’ are very well done, and I find them all interesting.
Oh, I just thought of one exception: Reverie au Jardin. I don’t know what it is about this scent, but I absolutely loathe it. It smells like cheap room spray or bathroom air freshener to me. I must have some weird association with that combination of smells. *shrug*

  • Dante's Bra says:

No. 12 sounds so lovely! Can you throw me in for that one, too?

Thanks for doing this, I love you guys!

  • veronica says:

I like very much what Tauer creates. It always has a special touch, a style even. Difficult to chose between both. I adore his Rose chyprée and am very curious with the new rose. So please enter me inte draw too. And thanks a lot to both of you. Veronica

  • Daniela says:

Please enter me! These both sound amazing :)

  • Lisa S. says:

I’m a newbie to the perfume obsession waters. I’ve dipped my toe in with some samples from Luckyscent and I ordered Tilda Swinton Like This and Nuit de Tubéreuse. I’m debating on M. Micallef Rose-Aoud. I would love to dip my toes in even more, both of these sound lovely. Thank you so much for this drawing!

  • sherobin says:

I’d love to try either, but No. 12 is more enticing to me…I love cardamom and white flowers, resin and incense. Never can be too much of that stuff.
I love rose, too, but for some reason when I want rose, I tend to go for a small number of personal favorites, and am less willing/excited to experiment. Of course, once in a while something comes along that gets added to that small list. Thanks for the draw!

  • Tara C says:

I am drooling over no. 12, this one has my name all over it. Thanks for having a drawing!!

  • helenviolette says:

These both sound incredible :) I have a slightly greater quiver of anticipation of the Rose scent- because I luuuv Andy’s Rose scents- but Eau d’epices sounds lovely too…

  • Jackie says:

Both sound gorgeous, but I’d especially like to try scent No. 10.

  • Erin T says:

Please count me in, and I’ll pick #12 if I win, though they both sound lovely – madarin, Indian spices, incense, Andy’s orris… too good to pass up. If I don’t win, I’d like Dusan to win :)

  • Caragh says:

    Anything Andy will do nicely!

  • rosarita says:

I’m definitely a spice girl & Eau d’Epices sounds right up my street. Thanks for entering me in the draw!

  • RuthW says:

Wow – this is amazing, I just ordered the discovery sample kit from Andy’s website so this draw is fantastic.
I would honestly be happy with either one, love love love roses but I have a big thing for spice too!

  • Elisa says:

I actually won a bottle of Eau d’Epices from a draw on Andy’s blog (it hasn’t arrived yet, I’m on pins & needles), and I doubt lightning will strike twice, but what the hell, please enter me and maybe I can try URV too — I sounds magically delicious!

  • LindaB says:

WOW!! How exciting and generous of Andy! Number 10 sounds amazing–I’m a sucker for all those roses and violets and the ambergris sounds luscious.

Ooooooooh, I hope I win, I hope I win!! heehee

  • ElizabethC says:

Please enter me in the drawing for Eau de’Epices. Love the idea of spices and more spices – especially the cardamom (my favorite food spice!!!).

  • MJ says:

It would tickle me to win any of Andy’s frags, but the
Eau de’Epices appeals to me the most! Would you please enter me in the draw.

  • Goose says:

I have a sample of L’Eau d’Epices from a few years back, which I believe was its ‘testing phase’… what I smelled then was really intriguing! Please enter me in the drawing as well :)

  • Rappleyea says:

Definitely No. 12; it sounds gorgeous. I’m a little nervous of the raspberries in URV. The scents with raspberries that I’ve tried so far have gone plastic on me. But knowing Andy, it’s bound to be gorgeous as well!

  • Lara says:

I’m looking forward to trying No. 10. Still waiting to sample Carillon…guess I need to get it done before the weather changes again. Please enter me. Thanks!

  • Patricia says:

Eau D’Epices in principle, as I don’t like rose too much, but in this one I have a feeling the word Vermeille will surprise and because of the author it may actually be a very nice and original scent.

  • Julie says:

Please enter me in the drawing! I almost feel guilty since i just won some samples from you guys, but not that guilty!
I would love to try No. 12.

  • smy says:

Both sound fabulous! Please enter me in the drawing!

  • Claudia says:

Very exciting news! Enter me in the draw, please.

  • Kyra says:

Love what Andy does with spice.

  • Gretchen says:

If I win, the picking will be a tense decision, that’s for sure. Who knows which way I’d jump. . .

  • Marte says:

They both sound great, but I think Eau d’Épices would be absolutely perfect for autumn. Please enter me in the drawing!

  • Datura5750 says:

I love the sample of L’Eau that Andy included in my last order, a bottle is in my future one way or another, and would love to try the rose…

  • Roberto says:

Wow this is pretty cool! Two new Tauer frags, I’d love to win No 12 Eau D’epices. Please enter my name in the draw.

  • Gwyneth says:

Mr. Tauer seems like such a fine gentleman — and SUCH a talent! They both sound gorgeous. It is so kind of him to offer the chance to try one of his new fragrances. And thank you, too, PP … please enter me in the drawing. Thanks!

  • annie says:

Be still my heart….#12…..SWOOOOON…..He is so wonderful nto do this!!!:x

  • Dionne says:

Decisions… decisions….. I will definitely be sampling the rose, but #12 had me at clove, spices, orris and labdanum. Wow, I’m looking forward to this fragrance.

  • Anna in Edinburgh says:

If folk outwith the US can enter, I’d very much like the new Andy Tauer Rose perfume – I’ve no shortage of “raindrops” and “whiskers on kittens” here but roses reign supreme amongst my favourite things.

Good luck to one and all whichever way it falls,

    cheerio,

    Anna in Edinburgh

  • d3m0lici0n says:

EAU D’ÉPICES sounds really good, I’d love to win that one, thanks Andy once again for doing this, is really cool, you are the best!

  • OperaFan says:

Oh I’d love to win a bottle. Choices? who cares – it’s Andy!

  • Laurie says:

Please enter me in the drawing! The Une Rose sounds incredible…..vanilla, sandalwood, tonka….oh my!!!

  • kjanicki says:

I think I’d like the spice one best, I love Tauer’s resin-y scents, although the rose is very gourmand-yummy.

  • hvs says:

spice and resin – sounds like heaven!

  • Redsprite says:

Such happy news! Please sign me up.

  • Austenfan says:

I’m sure they’ll both be excellent. But having fallen very much in love with his first rose ( le Maroc pour elle) I’m slightly looking forward more to this rose. I would love to be entered for either of his fragrances. Thanks.

  • tsetse says:

Oh, looking forward to both, but have been waiting for the Eau d’Epices longer :) and it’s already practically begging to be my new fall fragrance!

  • Samantha says:

No. 12 sounds amazing and perfect for the coming chilly weather..I’d love to be entered!

  • cjj88 says:

:d I think the N0. 12-EAU D’ÉPICES sounds like the perfect autumn scent for me

  • sybil says:

Un Rose Vermeille…did I spell that right? They both sound good, but for some reason this one really grabbed me!

  • Jen says:

Oh – number 10 sounds swoon worthy, and I could use something indulgent in my life right now. So cool !

  • dogloverinmn says:

Would love to be entered in the drawing, please. I heart Andy Tauer! Thank you :)

  • Aparatchick says:

I’ve been lemming Eau d’Épices since I first heard about it. There isn’t a note listed that I don’t love.

  • Sherri M. says:

Oh, this is so hard! I’ve been looking for a rose perfume to love, and I really am more of a floral lover, BUT the spicy one with the heart of jasmine-orange blossom-orris-incense…does it get any better than that?? I’ll say #12! Please enter me in the draw.

  • maggiecat says:

Oh these sound lovely! No. 10, the rose, is intriguing to me as a perfume. I love spice scents, but it’s not cold enough yet to really crave them (although winter will come, I’ve been assured…) At any rate, I’m still lemming the rose right now. i’d love to be entered – thank you and Andy Tauer!

  • Elizabeth says:

What could I possibly add to what has already been said? They are both bound to be beautiful works of art! Please include me in the drawing, and many thanks to you and to Andy Tauer.

  • Cheryl says:

    Go Andy!
I’d go for the rose one first. I’m always waiting to be seduced by a rose perfume and it is so rare to find one that is compelling. Rose chypree was good…so this one gonna be good too, right? But spicy one sounds grand too. Please enter me also, thanks.

  • maggi says:

oh, absolutely #12, EAU D’ÉPICES. thanks for the draw

  • dremybluz says:

both sound fantastic. please enter me in the draw

  • Dagney says:

They both sound wonderful but I’m particularly interested in the Scent No. 10-UNE ROSE VERMEILLE, as it sounds like there’s alot more to this fragrance than the rose alone. Please enter me into the draw and thanks for the opportunity.

  • Tiara says:

I do think Andy has to be the most generous man in the perfume world! Scent N0. 12-EAU D’ÉPICES sounds heavenly. As I get older, I’m leaning more toward the spicy fragrances. Something about that deep richness is quite satisfying.

    Thanks for having the draw!

  • RM says:

Yep, the spicy one looks good to me! Would love to be entered in the draw! Thanks!

  • Catherine says:

No. 12! Would love some extra “spices” in life now that I’ve returned to Minnesota. Perfect for the weather here–into the rest of fall and winter.

  • Jorid says:

    Ooh! New exiting tauers :D

  • london says:

Une Rose Chypree is my favourite so far so I’d have to go with the Rose Vermeille despite the raspberry. But I have learned with Andy that you never get what you expect so I will be interested to see what he does with the raspberry more than anything.

  • pam says:

Sometimes I go to the Indian market just to stand there and sniff, so that spice fragrance sounds soooooo good. But the rose also sounds beautiful. I have never had the pleasure of sniffing any of the Tauers. Please enter me in the drawing.

  • jennifer says:

Ohhh…Une Rose is my poison…Must have it!

  • Lauren says:

You had me at Indian basket:)

I’d love to be in the drawing.

  • jen says:

They both look fantastic. I think #12. Looks like early Fall in a bottle. :)

  • arch.memory says:

Please count me in Scent N0. 12-EAU D’ÉPICES!

  • Musette says:

I don’t think I’m eligible, which is fine….but I just wanna say I think the Spicefest sounds very intriguing – cardamom and jasmine….interesssssting…

    xo >-)

  • Style Spy says:

The spice the spice the spice the spice the spice. Oooh, that’s all my favorite stuff. I almost licked my computer screen.

  • moongrrl says:

    No 12 all the way!

  • janudy says:

Wow–how great! Please enter me for the No. 12!

  • Ruanne says:

Wow- hard to say. I’m drooling for either one. Eau D’Epices by a nose (har) just because it sounds more autumnal, and I’m getting excited to be excited for Fall. Not quite there, but I do look forward to being in the mood for a basket of spices.

  • gator grad says:

They both sound great! Tauer spicy frags are fantastic, and though it’s the season, something about UNE ROSE VERMEILLE is really calling to me. PdN’s Balkis didn’t work for me, but I really wanted it to. It’s only “kissed” by the fruit, so I’m thinking it may be a better fit for me. (I can’t picture the lavandar in this at all… that’s what really has me thinking)

  • Marsi says:

    Eau d’Epices sounds particularly scrumptious.

  • ShirlJean says:

I have never posted for a drawing, but couldn’t help myself this time. No 12 Spice would be my first pick. Sounds perfect for Autumn and winter that is breathing down our necks. Please enter me in the draw :)

  • Melissa says:

They both sound wonderful, although I am ready for a spice-fest now that the temperature is starting to drop a bit (um, into the 60’s?) in the evenings. So, I would love No. 12. But the combination of citrus and florals with what looks like a very rich base in No 10 seems very intriguing too. Please enter me.

  • Connie says:

They both sound gorgeous. Andy is always so generous, what a lovely gesture. And thank you, too, PP … please enter me in the drawing. Thanks!

  • Nancy C. says:

They both sound uber yummy but I’m leaning toward #12. I need more spice in my collection. :d

  • Maura says:

I’m with you on the tough decision!! I much prefer spice over rose but hey, this is a Tauer afterall so it might be *the*rose! :d

  • Bev says:

I think Andy is a genius….I really do! Both perfumes sound great. If I had to choose at this point, I’d try #10.
    But Indian spices…..mmmmmm!

  • Vasily says:

Number 12. I was lucky enough to get a sample of his L’eau d’Epices trial back in 2007 and have since been haunted by the feeling of nostalgia overlaying a sense of menace that wearing it it evoked for me, the perfect autumnal perfume.

  • eliza says:

Wow–definitely Indian spices! I can never get enough of those…mmmm…

  • karin says:

I’m not a big spice fan, but would love to try the rose!

  • Isa says:

This time the decision is easy for me. Definitely, I would pick No. 12. Just reading the notes and my mouth is watering!

Thanks to Perfume Posse and to Andy for this drawing!

  • Melauriga says:

At first I thought I was looking forward to No. 12 more since I like spicy scents, but then I saw that No. 10 has violets and raspberries! I am a violet freak. And those basenotes… Glad to see someone else loves Balkis. It’s my favorite PdN, but I don’t see it get mentioned often.

  • Dusan says:

I’ve not had much luck with these draws, so I’m pinning all my hopes on this one cos I really REALLY want a bottle of the Spicefest Water.

  • Ines says:

Hm, tough choice. I only recently discovered I actually like rose scents but I think I’d go with No 12. – I’m a sucker for spices and cannot get enough of them (and now the winter is approaching my cravings will be satisfied). :)

  • aotearoa says:

Violets are not for me but I love the sound of No 12.
So far only Orange star hasn’t hit the mark for me so I’ve got a good strike rate with Mr Tauer!

  • Madea says:

No. 10. I’ve had a miserable few days, and think something girly and indulgent might be a mood lifter.

  • zazie says:

UNE ROSE VERMEILLE is the one I’m most looking forward to try…
I already love his Rose Chyprée, so…

  • jen says:

12 sounds intriguing, but I love his roses fragrances.

  • Moochebo says:

I am a big fan of Andy Tauer. I am really looking forward to these new ones.

  • dianawr says:

As a lover of roses, I am very excite for UNE ROSE VERMEILLE!

  • Furriner says:

Andy does roses so well… but I think I am looking forward to Eau d’Épices more. It sounds very beautiful for the fall.

  • Alica says:

Oh, had I opportunity to have both, I would have problem to decide which one. Thank you for entering me in the drawing.

  • lamombo says:

rose violets and wild raspberries -sounds awesome !

  • Todd T. says:

Scent N0. 12-EAU D’ÉPICES really looking forward to this one. Has everything I like in a scent.

    Cheers!

  • Tamara*J says:

Ooooooooo please do enter me, I’m so eager to try URV.
I love rose gourmands and would just go to the moon if I won!

    Yay!

  • Joe says:

Oh, how awesome… yet again. Thanks to you at PP and to Andy for this great giveaway.

It’s hard for me to decide too — I definitely like spicy scents more than rose, but the berries and vanilla in Vermeille make me think a bit of PdN Balkis, which I love. Good thing I’ll have some time to think about this.

For the record, I love Carillon, and I loved Orange Star too.

  • Flora says:

Oh wow, please enter me! I know they will both be wonderful, but I am leaning toward the No. 10 Une Rose Vermeille – I can’t wait to see what Andy will do with raspberries and violets! I know for sure that they won’t smell like any other perfume with those notes, they will have the Tauer touch! :d

  • L says:

Oooooooooooooooooh! So exiciting! I think I’d have to go with the rosy one, but as Dissed said, “It’s all good.”

  • dissed says:

Spices or roses, spices and roses. It’s all good.

  • Kelly says:

I LOVES me some Number 12 :D and some Andy ;)

  • Nina Z says:

It’s been long, cold, foggy summer out here in the Bay Area. I need some spices to perk me up!

  • Elizabeth says:

Oh my Lordy, they both sound great, but I am a sucker for spices, especially cardamom. I would love the chance to win this, or the rose one, I’m not picky! :-)

  • mariekel says:

I have a small sample of a Tauer perfume that was never released call Pain D’Epices. It smells like Autumn — apple cider, damp woods and smoke. Lovely.

Any idea if this is the same scent with a name tweak? Either way, it sounds delish. Please enter me in the drawing!

  • Wild Rose Chance says:

I am practically drooling at the description of No. 12 – spices, orange blossom, incense? Woo. I would love to be entered in the drawing.

  • carter says:

They both sound like tens to me!
