Wedding Perfume – What did the Bride Wear?

wedding perfume

This is where I’ve been!  My gorgeous niece got married in Kansas last weekend, and this is the first look picture her photographer posted. It was a great wedding for two really special people that are really perfect for each other.  I did finish the blanket for their wedding. Now I’m not very secretly hoping and lobbying to make a baby blanket for them.

I’ve become a big fan of the photo booth at the wedding reception. My little 10-year-old niece, Nahdia, who I taught to knit in our downtime between the wedding and reception, was photo bombing other people’s photo booth sessions.  We also have goofy pictures of my mom that I would have never thought we would get.   [pullquote] “Love Never Fails.”[/pullquote]

Of course she had a wedding perfume!

You get to guess what she wore from my  Top Five Twelve Wedding Perfume list.  Tough list to make, it started as a list of five and then went to ten, and two that needed  on the list weren’t, so it became eleven. I left off a couple of my favorites because you just can’t get them at all or for anything approaching reasonable.

  1. L’Artisan Seville a’Laube
  2. Chanel 1932
  3. Dior Diorissimo
  4. Dior Grand Bal
  5. Byredo La Tulipe
  6. Ellie D parfum
  7. Parfum d’Empire Osmanthus Interdite
  8. Serge Lutens de Profundis
  9. Serge Lutens Un Lys
  10. Houbigant Orangeurs en Fleurs
  11. Ormonde Jayne Ormonde Woman
  12. Puredistance I

Okay, so guess which one she picked to wear. And what’s your list of 5 or 12 or however many you need for your favorite wedding perfume?  I’ll do a drawing for two sample sets of all 12 of these.  Just drop a comment to be entered. If you don’t want/need to be entered, just put DNEM in your comment.  I’ll put up the winners of the lily of the valley sample sets this weekend!

  • missyl says:

Congratulations to the family! These sound beautiful ( reading reviews of these- I haven’t smelled any of them : /).Love to be entered in your draw. I’m going to guess the Seville L’aube because orange blossoms are so perfect for a wedding.

  • Joan says:

What a hip wedding! The bride and groom seem like they have a sense of humor, which will give them a lot to talk about!

I’m going to guess she wore Parfum d’Empire’s Osmanthus Interdite, because it’s classically beautiful but has a bit of trendiness to it.

I’d wear Amouage Gold or a vintage perfume like Jolie Madame, and a vintage dress. I might consider something a bit softer, but brainy, like Huitieme Art’s Manguier Metisse, if I wanted to go pretty and not aggressive.

  • Zygmunt says:

Chanel 1932 just says spring wedding to me!

  • mim says:

    Mazel Tov!
That looks like a really fun photo, and a great idea with the photo booth and photobombing niece!

Don’t know, this is completely random… I would guess she wore Ellie D because it’s number 6 which is my favorite number.

I would wear OJ Woman, it is one of my desert island perfumes. Don’t know many others except Ellie D which I have sniffed before.
For a spring wedding, if cost/availability were no object, the late, lamented Seve Exquise by Gobin-Daude would be my top choice. Or maybe Virgin from the Mugler Perfume coffret. Sigh. If only…
Other wedding perfumes: Safran Troublant, The Pour Une Ete, OJ Woman, Jo Malone Orange Blossom, Parfums d’Imperfiction Eleven Minutes, Dior Bois D’Argent, SL Vetiver Oriental.

  • trickyholly says:

Mazel tov! my guess is the seville l’aube. A lovely scent for a lovely young bride! (I wore SIP’s prima ballerina, but I eloped!)

  • Merlin Arbor says:

I will guess she wore the Houbigant. My ideas for a great wedding perfume: in hot weather, Kai or Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Wedding Bouquet; spring-like weather, Guerlain Jardins de Bagatelle or Ormonde Jayne Frangipani. For a winter bride, Chanel Cruel Gardenia. Autumn wedding…something with rose, though I haven’t yet found my “perfect rose” scent!

  • Melanie Wallwork says:

Great photo. Looks like the wedding was a blast! Owing to my love for Osmanthus, I have to vote for Osmanthus Interdite for my guess

  • Ninara Poll says:

Many, many congratulations to your niece! And the photobombing little one sounds like she’ll be a wonderful, occasionally frustrating handful when she’s older 😉 My guess is Dior Grand Bal, simply for the name 🙂

  • Sarah says:

I’ll guess Diorissimo but I must confess I am not familiar with the rest of the list. My top wedding perfumes: Chanel 22, Guerlain’s Attrape Coeur, L’Instant Magic mixed with Rose Barbare or maybe Nahema. I wore Chanel 22 on my wedding day, and still wear it…soft floral with incense. For me, nothing compares to 22, the perfume is heavenly. Yum.

  • Alison says:

I’m thinking it’s Ormonde Jayne Ormonde Woman because it’s edgy, confident, denotes someone who is out there and I think it speaks urban. Long sillage, too, so, perhaps she’d want that. Everyone always stops me when I wear it , so how could she go wrong?!

  • CarolAnne says:

    Houbigant!

  • Cathy says:

Guessing the Dior because its classic but this fragrance is newer. The bride looks classic and the wedding party very young, fresh, quirky and fun. Blessings to them.

  • Andrea M says:

Congrats to your niece! You sound like a wonderful aunt. Hmmmm, my perfume for a wedding would be EL Private Collection Tuberose-Gardenia (if I weren’t allergic to it!); I also love the new Hermes d’Jour (once it dries down). For my own wedding I wore Bulgari Femme. The drawing sounds great! I haven’t tried (or even seen!) many of your choices. Is StC going to publish the wedding results from about a year ago? I think you all were asking people to submit their wedding perfumes/picture… Thanks!

  • Elise says:

I’ll guess that she wore Un Lys!
    My list would include:
    OJ Woman
    Chanel No. 5 or 19
    AG Gardenia

  • Aww! Were you in KC? I do photo booths on weekends in KC! I wish I had been at this one, looks like a fun group. And it is SO POPULAR for wedding receptions these days, I have to fight to get a weekend off. I am not familiar with the list, but I recall your description of Seville a l’aube and immediately adding it to my wishlist, so that’s my guess.

  • Stacy T says:

    My guess is puredistance I.
I’m getting married in Sept. Will probably wear No. 4711 Nouveau Cologne.

  • sara says:

perfect timing for this article. I am getting married in July. I would love to enter the drawing and would wear one of the scents if I win!!! I think she wore Chanel 1932.

  • linda says:

that is a really wonderful picture! i would guess the gorgeous bride wore Dior grand bal, just because it seems like it would suit her.

  • meganangellcoldwaterlaw says:

    Wow, what fun!

  • Ariadne says:

What a lovely and uplifting post! Awesome drawing too! My guess is Ormonde Woman for that gorgeous young Amazon Queen!

  • Janell says:

My vote goes for La Tulip. I wore Amazing Grace in a destination wedding in the Caribbean.

  • Cara Sutcliffe says:

I love the green light and the “no U turn” sign in the background – auspicious beginnings for the bride and groom!
I’m in awe of the list – so many I”ve heard wonderful things about and not experienced yet. I have no idea so I”m guessing the Byredo.

  • Susan J. says:

I guess the bride wore Diorissimo. That would be on my list along with De Profundis, Fleurs d’Orangeur, and YSL Paris because my mother used to wear it.

  • Connie says:

My guess is that the bride wore Puredistance1. A great perfume. I can’t believe Songes isn’t on the list! Can’t have them all, I suppose. And then if you can’t narrow the list down to twelve comfortably, imagine having to actually pick a one to wear!

  • Civet says:

I’m going to guess she wore the la Tulip, but that’s just because I love the idea of wearing a tulip. So Springy! My choice for a wedding would probably be Soivohle Oudh Lacquer.

  • Mary says:

I guess Byredo La Tulipe! Perfect for an early Spring wedding in the Midwest.
And I would add Puredistance Opardu to your list.

  • Irina says:

congratulations- what a beautiful couple and such a fine picture!
my guess is ” Puredistance” it seems so fit…

  • Roslyn says:

I’m guessing Houbigant Orangeurs en Fleurs! A suggestion from me for a wedding fragrance would be Creed Jardin D’Amalfi – so refreshing and joyful. Congratulations to your niece!

  • sunnlitt says:

That is a great photo!! It shows such an appreciation for the joy in life!
I am going to guess Houbigant Orangeurs en Fleurs. It is springtime in a bottle.

  • Maria B. says:

I’ll guess Diorissimo for the solipsistic reason that I’m smelling of LOTV right now.

My favorite wedding fragrance is Bulgari Pour Femme. It’s a floral bouquet and is refreshing, which is useful with all the stress and heat. It also makes someone eminently huggable. Apres l’Ondee would be wonderful on a bride too, so lyrical. As would Cuir de Lancome because it’s quiet and transparent.

  • Katharine says:

Great picture! What a lovely couple. My guess is Serge Lutens Un Lys.

  • Kandice says:

Congratulations to your niece! It must have been a fun reception with pictures like that. I would guess Chanel 1932 or Houbigant Orangeurs en Fleurs. And thanks for including us in the celebration with such a wonderful draw!

  • Dana says:

What a fun photo! I’ve only smelled two of these fragrances and I don’t think it was either one of them. So I’m purely guessing with Ellie D because I like the name. I’m pretty sure I wore White Linen to my own wedding 29 years ago in August.

  • Emily S says:

I’m going to guess La Tulipe because she looks like a brilliant, fresh spring tulip. This is a great list. I would consider several of these for my own wedding… probably Diorissimo.

  • poodletwins says:

Thats such a great photo, joyful, with individuality, exhuberant. Im going to guess Un Lys, with Diorissimo as a close second because of the feeling I get from the photo. And just think of what a great scent memory she will have regardless of choice. Congrats to the happy couple. Thanks for the draw!

  • KirstenMarie says:

Après L’Ondee was the first parfumerie that really spoke to me, and the description absolutely matched the visual picture the scent provided. If you’re curious, hop over to http://www.surrendertochance.com – they have samples of both the EDT and vintage juice!

  • Merlin says:

Okay, I’m guessing Un Lys because its so dramatically optimistic and lush. And because the name makes my think of lace which brings me back to wedding dresses…

I like to think I would wear something completely atypical – but I might just go in for Bal a Versailles which is romantic but also feels lived in and comfortable. I hate the idea of something stiff and formal!

  • kizzers says:

Many congrats to your niece. What a beautiful photo, it looks like they had so much fun!

I’d guess the Bride wore De Profundis, its such a joyous uplifting scent.

If I was to get re-married (to the same man!), I’d probably wear Seville A’Laube, or 28 La Pausa, or OJ Sampaquita/Frangipani/Tiare.

  • Joni Dischner says:

KristenMarie: your description of Après L’Ondee makes me want to smell it immediately, sigh..it sounds amazing and what a lovely description.

“Heaven opened, angels descended, violets were crushed by raindrops against wet stones scent”

  • NeenaJ says:

I’m going with Diorissimo because it’s young and beautiful just like your niece. Awesome pic, BTW. I didn’t wear fragrance on my wedding day. But, if I were to be married today, I would go with Chanel No. 18 or Le Labo Ambrette 9.

  • ChristineB says:

I’m going to guess that the bride wore Byredo la Tulipe, because it is happy and spring like. I got married before I was really interested in perfume and have no recollection what if any perfume I wore. A dreadful admission! So what would be on my list now? Contenders would be Diorrissimo, Amouage Lyric, Carnal Flower, or Parfums de Nicolai Temps du Fete. But if I was renewing my vows I think I might go for Shalimar, or possibly Vol de Nuit. Decisions, decisions!

  • solanace says:

This picture is great! I absolutely love it. Wishing the adorable bride and groom loads of love and a big happy family!
What did she wear? It’s hard to pick one from this list, but I’ll go with Osmanthus Interdite. (And what did he wear? I’m another one who wants to know!)

  • jirish says:

What fun guessing! I’ll go with Seville a’lAube, which seems perfect for a wedding. Others on my wedding-worthy list: Lyric, Amourousse, Nuit de Tuberose, and Zeta.

  • Nancysg says:

Will guess Grand Bal. The fragrance and the name seem appropriate for a wedding.

  • LaurenW says:

Wow, what a great picture. The photographer did a great job getting them all doing their thing and then snapping the result. Looks like it was a fun wedding.

I’m going to guess that she wore the Byredo La Tulipe.

My criteria for wedding scents are that they must be long-lasting, pretty more than interesting, not over-powering (especially for a summer wedding), and must have some personal meaning. So my picks are Joy (I’ve already broken the over-powering rule), Chanel Bel Respiro, Guerlain Les Secrets de Sophie, Guerlain Spiriteuse Double Vanille, and possibly Black Cashmere if it were an outdoors fall wedding.

  • listofailments says:

I’m going to guess Ormonde Woman (orange blossoms read as “fall” to me, so I ruled those out early based on nothing but that…).

Wedding perfume is an interesting idea, do you match the season, the level of ceremony formality, personality, dress, etc? Do you wear an utterly new perfume or an old favorite? There are so many ways to go. I wore Dior’s Eau de Dolce Vita, because it’s what I wore on our first date.

But for an afternoon garden wedding, I’d wear Hiris, or Luten’s Fleur d’Oranger.

Or Chamade to any kind of wedding.

  • odonata9 says:

Please DNEM – I’m not a fan of most wedding style perfumes. My own wedding scent was Guerlain AA Herba Fresca – our wedding was very casual and outdoors in August, so I needed something extra refreshing. Photobooths are great at weddings. My brother had his reception at a photography museum, so that was included with it and we had so much fun. For our much more budget wedding, I stole the idea and got a polaroid style camera (fuji instax – it’s so much fun!), got some props like fake glasses, hats, fake mustaches, etc. and had a friend take pics, and then had guests put glue them in our guest book with their messages. It’s great fun to look through now.

  • Maureen says:

Diorissimo…that’s what I’s wear if I were ever to get married again. Great Photo!

  • Elia says:

    Nice pic!
I’m guessing she wore Chanel 1932.
I’ve not really considered a wedding scent, but I think I’d be between Chergui, Puredistance M, or Gucci Nobile.

  • thegoddessrena says:

Haven’t tried most of the scents on your list, so I’m going to randomly guess Grand Bal since they look like they’re having a grand time. If I was to get married today I’d be in Songes or Honeysuckle Bird. If I could wait a few weeks until it’s in my possession, I’d be in Pretty Machine (Would that count as something blue since it looks like it’ll come in a bright happy sky blue bottle?)

  • mridula says:

I’m going to guess Seville a l’aube. This is a great list.Mine would include Annick Goutal’s Songes, SL’s Bois de Violette and L’Artisan’s Mure et Musc. It really depends on if it is a formal wedding, a second marriage, a wedding with a playful theme etc. A friend of mine had an lice in Wonderland Theme and I think for that I would want either SL’s Five O’clock Gingembre or his Jeux de Peaux.

  • wefadetogray says:

my guess would be Diorissimo! (although I feel 32 is a second close possibility). My favorite would be Osmanthus Interdite 🙂

  • CC ... says:

What a cool photo! Thank you for sharing. I would guess Chanel 32 because it is a modern scent from a classic house. All of the scents on the list would be beautiful.

  • Teri says:

Greatest wedding picture ever! No matter what paths all the young people in the picture wind up taking in life, they will always be remembered with a grin whenever your niece takes out her wedding photos.

My DIL borrowed my Parfum D’Empire Osmantus Interdite for her wedding scent and it was just perfect on her, so I’ll guess your niece chose it, too.

  • maggiecat says:

I wore Diorissimo to my wedding not quite four years ago, but I’m guessing your niece wore the L’Artisan. You coldn’t go wrong with OJ Woman though…or Un Lys…or really any of these. Good list!

  • fleurdelys says:

Great photo! My guess is Seville a l’Aube, just because of its orange blossom and romantic backstory.

I have no idea what a favorite wedding perfume would be nowadays – probably a beautiful floral like 24 Faubourg or Joy. My wedding was so long ago I can’t remember if I wore any fragrance at all. If I did it was probably Beautiful.

  • Marte says:

My guess is that she wore Dior Grand Bal – such a beautiful, happy scent!

Favourite wedding perfumes: Seville, Grand Bal, Dior New Look 1947, Vero Profumo Rubj extrait, SSS Lieu de Reves, Shalimar, Amouage Ubar, Carnal Flower, Ormonde Woman (fall wedding) and OJ Frangipani.

If I get married I would probably wear Dior New Look, since that’s the scent I wore when i met my boyfriend, and he always compliments me when I wear it. And perhaps Rubj extrait for the party afterwards 🙂

  • Nadja Sand says:

I’m not very familiar with your list of scents, but I would guess Seville a l’aube because I have heard great things about thast one, and it sounds gorgeous! I myself will never be getting married, and florals and light scents aren’t generally my thing… But, that said, if I got married I would probably wear something with iris (one of the few florals that I really adore) like Infusion d’Iris, Dior Homme Intense (strange, I know, but the iris in that one makes me swoon) or L’Heure Bleue. Or maybe some really soft and creamy carnation scent, the one that comes to mind is an indie perfume oil by Alkemia, Incendere. Another possibility would be something quite green but I have yet to find the perfect green scent… One that also comes to mind is Grev by Slumberhouse, it has a certain spicy elegance that I think would be perfect for a winter wedding…

  • Lynne Marie says:

What a great picture! A sense of humor is the most important ingredient in any marriage and it looks like they have that in spades!! I’m going to guess Seville a L’Aube, mostly because it’s what I would choose!

  • london says:

DNEM but I hope it was Ellie because it’s what I wore for my Spring wedding (and I didn’t regret my choice – of perfume or husband!)

  • Beth says:

What a lovely photo! Considering how rotten our weather has been across the country, such a blessing to ave a beautiful day for it.

I’m going to guess the Seville is what she went with. But I’d have to pick the Ormonde Jayne myself. I was just suggesting that one as a wedding perfume. It’s so pretty, and yet different and complex. You won’t smell it on everyone, and you won’t tire of it easily.

  • FearsMice says:

That’s a terrific picture, and I’m glad that your family has such a lovely event to remember far into the future. I’m going to guess that your niece wore the Houbigant. Best wishes to the adorable bride and groom!

  • dremybluz says:

I say Puredistance for her wedding scent.

  • Lavanya says:

    Congrats to your niece!!
I think Ellie D would make a lovely wedding perfume- so delicate and pretty though it has been a while since I’ve sniffed it.

  • Sherri says:

I’m going say she chose La Tulipe, because she seems so joyful!

Love your wedding perfume choices. Songes and VC&A Gardenia Petales are two I think would also make grew bridal perfumes.

Congratulations to your niece and hope you get to make that baby blanket soon!!

  • Dina C. says:

What a great, unconventional wedding photo. Such a happy group! 🙂 My guess is 1932 because I’ve recently grown to like it a lot and love Jacques Polge. That list has a lot of good wedding scent choices on it. For my own wedding, a long time ago, I wore Arpege. It was a formal, evening, winter wedding, and I’m still happy with my choice. Thanks for entering me in the drawing Patty.

  • alityke says:

I’ll go for De Profundis. That is a fabulous photograph. I wore the lovely spring like Nicky Verfaille Grain de Sable and I am beyond grateful to my recent fragrance fairy godmother for sourcing it for me again. More easily accessible for modern brides I would choose from

Elie Saab which I recently gifted a colleague for her wedding fragrance
L’Occitane Aurore, a white rose and to make it last, layered with the body products
    Chant d’Aromes for sheer prettiness
I adore Beige for its springtime hawthorne note and think it would be a terrific wedding day scent but it doesn’t last long
For a more mature bride, 31 Rue Cambon

  • KirstenMarie says:

Love Ormond Jayne Woman, but it’s more of a colder weather scent to me. I’m guessing your niece went with the classic Dior Diorissimo. That, or Un Lys. Love those two this time of year! Thanks for entering me in the drawing – will pass this list to my cousin who’s getting married soon! The only one I’d add is Après L’Ondee parfum, but that’s in the hard to find and prohibitively expensive category. Still is my all time favorite, Heaven opened, angels descended, violets were crushed by raindrops against wet stones scent.

  • GREAT photo. There’s only 2 I don’t know, so DNEM:-) But, pleeease let us know which were the favorite perfumes that were left off because they were rare. I’m so curious.

  • Laurel says:

My guess is Seville a l’Aube, because if all you bloggers are to be believed, to sniff it is to love it.

  • Jennifer Smith/ bookwyrmsmith says:

I would guess Ormonde Woman as so many seem to fall for it ,Seville would be second guess and Diorissimo third guess .I hope she and the new hubby have a wonderful life together.

As I am in a Gotta-sniff-EVERYTHING-out-there and slight paring down (not me -out!)I’m sorta glad that I don’t have the WEDDING PERFUME choice to make for myself.I’d probably beat my head on the wall in frustration. And buy all the horrendously expensive perfumes .And go bankrupt. But smell great!

  • lumpkinluv says:

Congrats! I think Ellie D parfum because it is my favorite.

  • Magdalena says:

Congratulations to your niece 🙂 The photo is cute, looks like the photoo shoot was lots of fun. My first thought was Puredistance I, second – L’Artisan Seville a’Laube. But I’ll stick with Puredistance.
For myself, I think I’d pick Penhaligon’s Artemisia.

  • Annamaria says:

If the photo is anything to go by, I’m guessing she wore Puredistance. The general feel of the wedding looks fresh and bright and fun, but still elegant beneath the fun. Also, Puredistance has orange blossom for weddings, and yellow flowers to match the groom’s boutonierre! Clearly I’ve thought too much about this!

  • Gina says:

My guess is the L’Artisan Seville a’Laube. Thanks for the drawing!

  • Tara says:

Séville à l’Aube would be my pick if I were getting married again.

  • Amy K says:

Congrats to your lovely niece! Is that Lawrence I spy back there? My guess is either Un Lys or La Tulipe.

  • Jamie says:

What a beautiful bride! I wish many many years of happiness! I loved this post and she is lucky to have you as an aunt! I recently got engaged and I’m looking for the perfect wedding scent (which led me to this blog) I am going to guess she took your earlier endorsement of L’Artisan Seville a’Laube. Would you have given any other suggestions if her wedding was in the fall? I think I would want at least four fragrance options. One fall day and one fall evening…one spring day and one spring evening. Now that I have categories I just need to find my favorites!

  • Julia says:

What a fun picture! I’m going to guess the Houbigant Fleurs d’oranger, if for no other reason than if I were getting married in the spring, I’d smell like Orange Blossoms, and the only one of those I’ve smelled before is Une Lys, and Lilies make me sneeze. Would love to be entered into the drawing so I can experience those others, so thank you, and congratulations to your niece!

  • Ann says:

Oh, how absolutely wonderful, Patty! Congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple! No idea what she wore (they are all picture-perfect scents in my book). DNEM, of course, but thanks for a day (late-night) brightener!

  • Musette says:

what a GREAT photo! Glad y’all didn’t get socked by the snow!

    My best wishes to them!

    xoxoxA

  • spiker says:

i’m going to guess Chanel 1932, but mainly because I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, and I’m dying to give it a sniff. What a lovely picture.

  • Hey Patty,
    It looks super cool.
DNEM but I would choose Grand Bal from that list. It would definitely make my Top 20 list. I would also add Versace Blonde, Amouage Ubar, DKNY Pure, Caron Bellodgia and a bunch of others.
I hope they are happy together for the long haul and that all their troubles are the kind that are so small they get to laugh about them together a long, long way down the track.
    Portia xxx

  • shaney says:

I LOVE that picture so much, in large part because the men decided to get sassy in it as well! I also love the photo booth at the wedding…while at first it’s scary, you truly end up with the funniest pics, and I love how you can catch the spirit of the wedding fun in a photo like that. OK, so my guess is Byredo La Tulipe for the bride! I’m still dreaming of the guy, so I can’t even start to make my wedding perfume list **sigh**…

  • Martha says:

Awww, garsh! They are just so cute. Sounds like a good time was had by all. I think that the bride wore Chanel 1932. But, what did the groom wear?

  • Jan Last says:

Great photo! I hope you remember to tell her to keep that perfume in a special cool, dark place, so she can wear it on anniversaries, christenings (yes, I heard what you said) and perhaps, her daughter will wear it to a bridal shower and make fun of it, lol.
I wore Je Reviens, still remember it, and wish I had taken my own advice.
So, my pick would be the Chanel 1932, as I just revisited it tonight.
Ineke Evening Edged in Gold, Chanel 5 Eau Premier, Les Perfumes de Rosine Pousierre de Rose, and, of all things, Slumberhouse EKI would be nice wedding picks for a modern bride.

  • Ilene Primack says:

I say she wore number 7 Osmanthus as it is so heavenly.

  • Tiara says:

Gosh, what a list! For me, the only thing missing is Songes, one of my favorites. I’m guessing she picked Byredo La Tulipe since it’s spring. Photo booths at weddings are fun, aren’t they? And from the great picture above, it looks as though they had wonderful weather.

  • Claudia Strandstra says:

    love this photo!

  • Elena says:

I would guess the Houbigant, because it is simply beautiful. Whatever she chose, I hope it brings her and her new husband many, many years of fond memories.

  • Janet says:

It looks like a fun wedding! I love the photo booth idea.
My guess is Serge Lutens Un Lys.

Congratulations to the bride and groom!

  • lorraine says:

I’ll guess Chanel 1932 – pretty and modern like she is. And she can tell her granddaughter one day that she got married in Chanel.

  • FeralJasmine says:

All best wishes to your niece, her lucky husband, and all of you for having a lovely and loving event in your family. I’m going to guess the Houbigant, because I don’t see how any lovely young bride who sniffed it could resist it.

  • Joni Dischner says:

I’m going to guess that she wore Puredistance, but that’s only because I’m projecting my love for magnolia and my belief that it’s perfect for a spring wedding. 😉

  • Cat Schultz says:

Aww! Congrats to your Niece, Patty!! Wow, pick a scent… Do you know how hard that is for an indecisive person? Lol. Geez.. I guess I’d pick Dior Diorissimo. So beautiful and elegant. Not that the others aren’t. Lol.
