Ma petunias, I am in the OAK, fog ro?ling in (which is NOT supposed to happen ) sick as a snake. Lots to tell you once I get my lungs back… will you foergive and indulge me as I bail on you and go crawl into my seat for a 3hr snooze? I promse to regale you with tales of kindness, delight, wonder and fabulosity. Next week.

Sending love and get-well wishes.
Feel better soon, dear sweet Musette! When we were young, my mother made for us her homemade concoction: equal parts honey, whiskey and lemon juice, warmed up. Which is funny to me now, as an adult; my parents were Methodists and never drank liquor.
Oh, Poodle, the dreaded Man-cold! It comes on as soon as the Woman has a sniffle. Which brings on severe symptoms in the Man, who is now laid out on the sofa, whimpering and asking if “we have something he can take for this”. Best wishes to all of us, with a minimum amount of suffering! I prescribe warm socks…

Your mom was one smart cookie! A friend in SF believes the reason I got sick was I ‘don’t drink enough’. I made sure to rectify my error as quickly as possible.

😀
Hang in there, sweetie! Get some rest, some tea and chicken soup and feel better soon! Sending you a big hug …

Aww, hope you feel better soon, Ms A! (and poodle’s husband, mine is also a moaner when he’s sick) The weather is so damp and chilly as you know too well, crawl into your fleece and rest, rest, rest.
It seems that 7 out of 10 people have some version of this. And it lingers for freakin’ EVAH! ick. xoxoxoA
It seems like everyone is sick lately. We are going through our first round of the Man-cold here. Hubby has been moaning and groaning for quite a few days.
Go get some rest and drink lots of tea. Hopefully this won’t keep you down for too long and you’re feeling better real soon. I find that humidifiers and vaporizers help a lot too.
LOL! Man-cold. yeppers. I came home, cleaned and loaded up the humidifiers. Bliss! xoxoxoA
