Happy Thanksgiving and…

Sorry, late today.  Had to have emergency nail surgery so my nail didn’t finish tearing off into the quick. Ouuuch. But it’s together for now, hope it lasts until it grows a little more.  So Happy Thanksgiving to those of you celebrating it tomorrow! And to everyone else because having a day to be thankful is the best.

Speaking of thankful.  If your Fairy Perfumed Godmother (not me!) dropped $2500 in your perfume spending account tomorrow, what would you get? Dream big!

Nombre Noir , Vintage Opium Parfum, Roja Tubereuse

  • Maya says:

Happy Thanksgiving! I won’t list all the perfumes I would buy, but lets say I could easily spend it all and then some. LOL. :))

  • Tiara says:

Gosh, this is harder than “what 10 perfumes would you take if you thought you’d be stranded on a deserted island”. I’d probably do some hard core sampling first, then decide. There are SO many perfumes I want to sniff that choosing is impossible. Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Tara C says:

Ow, hope it heals quickly! I would buy Naomi Goodsir Nuit de Bakelite, Cuir Velours and Bois d’Ascese, F Malle the Promise, Profumum Sorriso, Iris Ganache, and backup bottles of Malle DVN and Byredo 1996. If I’m not out of money, then I’d get Bracken woman too. 🙂

  • Kathleen Smith says:

    Heal quickly Patty!
I’d purchase some divine vintage finds!

  • HeidiC says:

Wow! With that kind of money, I’d buy vintages — vintage Mitsouko, Vol de Nuit, Chypre de Coty, Diorling — and then buy some Chanel Cuir de Russie and FM Carnal Flower.

  • eldarwen22 says:

If that happened I would probably get a bell jar of ISM, a bottle of SDV, Tonka Imperial. Naturally I would buy more Memoir, Epic and Lyric as well. I hope you start to feel better soon.

  • MrsDalloway says:

Ouch to the nail! Hope it’s better soon. The algorithm is recommending a nail polish story as ‘related to this’…

With lots of cash to splash I’d get Xerjoff 17/17 Homme and Irisss, Puredistance Warszawa, a big bottle of Iris Poudré, Papillon Dryad, and I might be nudging the limit there. If not, I’d blind buy Jardin Retrouvé Cuir de Russie and La Parfumerie Moderne Belles Rives.

  • Maggiecat says:

The new Creed White Amber would be mine (and at that price, I would need a fairy godmother!) I’d maybe save the rest for this summer’s trip to Paris (squee! )

  • MMKinPA says:

Happy Thanksgiving! I haven’t extensively sampled anything that goes for more than about $150 so I don’t think I could spend $2500 all at once. I might go for Tauer L’Eau, Une Rose Chypree, maybe le Maroc pour Elle ; Ormonde Jayne- a travel set including Woman; try the entire Hiram Green line and pick my favorite; decant of VCA Bois d’Iris. try some Neela Vermiere and pick my favorite. Then maybe acquire some body products – Chanel??

  • Jeanne says:

I’d buy all three of my daughters whatever perfume they wanted. What a Christmas present! Maybe throw in the body cream too…

  • Rosemary says:

Oooh, what a fantasy! I’d buy SergeLutens Rose de Nuit, and Borneo 1834; Arquiste Anima Dulcis; Jardins d’Ecrivains La Dame Aux Camelias; Amouage Lyric Woman; Parfums de Nicolai Incense Oud; Van Cleef & Arpels Moonlight Patchouli; Sigilli Khanbaliq; Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady; and if I had any money leftover, I’d have to look at my spreadsheet closer 😉
