This is going to be short. My typing time is severely limited. I had a really tweaked back/neck, finally got in today to get it all adjusted, and now everything hurts, but in a good way and not the why is someone stabbing my neck and shoulder with an ice pick kind of way.
So I’m not allowed to type much until this gets better. Hope everyone is well, did you get a fragrance as a gift this year? Was it something you wanted?
We did get a beautiful New Year’s Eve and Day snow. I built a great blaze in the fireplace, didn’t get the damper set right and smoked it up – resolved to replace with a lovely gas modern blaze next winter.
No perfumes for me this year as a gift – well, ever, nobody ever gets me perfume as a gift. I wonder why? Don’t I have an emoticon here somewhere that laughs?

It was part of a “keep Ariel warm and cozy” care package, complete with a cashmere beret that is the softest cloud on my head. I’ve only sampled the Reve D’Ossian thus far, and enjoyed it immensely.

Hope you feel better soon Patty. I didn’t get any scented gifts this year either, but I gave one that was a big big hit. A couple years ago, I gave my college son a big bag of masculine fragrance samples with a little write up of each one since he wanted guidance. (Cute lil’ newbie!) His favorite was Tom Ford Noir. So this year I bought him a bottle. He was surprised and really happy. That really made my day.
Ouch. Hope things recede fairly quickly. I pulled my left trapezius muscle decades ago and every once in a while it acts up, affecting everything on left side. Seeing my yoga teacher who does myofascial release helps a lot. I got some Le Labo samples from my son as my stocking gift. No bottles of anything.
Hope you feel better asap! I buy all my own perfume gifts, no disappointments! 🙂 Oh wait, I did send my dad a link to buy me Teone Reinthal Blue Lotus… so I did receive a perfume gift.

and YES! I got perfume! A gorgeous Beauty Pie offering: Brazilian Lime and Fig (or Fig & Lime). It has some similarities to my beloved Gin Fizz – I was given the body wash & lotion, too, which make a great underpinning for GF! I am really enjoying it!

I’m sorry about your back. That’s a bummer, as I know from experience. As far as perfume gifts, no one gets them for me either, since I like to get them for myself. So I gifted myself Chant d’Aromes which I had wanted for awhile and am enjoying immensely.
