I’m away. First holiday in over two years. In fact, bar two trips to Cardiff to sort my son’s uni stuff, this is the first time I’ve left Devon since 2019. That shouldn’t be as shocking as I find it, given our current world.
The dog gets to go to camp on the seaside and take walks on the common. And play with old and new friends. Camp posts pics on Facebook, so we’ll be able to see how he’s getting on.
See you next week, when I’m hoping I’ll have nice pictures to post and will go on endlessly about the food I ate that I didn’t have to cook. Oh, and we’ll bring home bagels. You can’t get really good bagels here (the bagels I make are good, but I’m looking forward to ‘proper’ bagels).
For US peeps, I hope it’s a pleasant Labor Day.
For the rest of the world, I hope you’re managing September ok.
