Posse! It’s an All Caron Giveaway Day! Here’s what happened. I’d planned to tell you all about the lovely day I spent in Chicago last week but when I woke up this morning it was a Craptastic day, with gale-force winds, viciously cold temps… and … I dunno… all I could see was the mess on my cherrywood dresser, that greasy dust that covers everything and a whole lotta perfume bottles that needed cleaning and put away, etc. So. To stave off the demons I did a deep clean.

How it all began
And it was GLORIOUS! Everything moved, wood and glass polished, things put in their rightful places, etc, etc… and the result was a considerably diminished anxiety. And a glorious find! A lovely little gold mesh bag full of Caron samples that a Very Dear Friend gave me awhile back!!

sheer fabulousity!
Some of the samples:
Poivre (beautiful clove-y pepper)
En Avion
Narcisse Blanc
Violette Precieuse (one of my favorite violets)
Or et Noir
and many more (there’s a LOT of little sample vials)
Here’s the thing: I adore Caron – but I have waaay too many sample vials and I’m OLD! I’m never going to get to them all – and this is a phenomenal little bag.
So! Time to Share! I’m giving it away to one lucky US commenter (non-US Posse, I love you to bits but we all know this will probably not get to you. Ev.er).
Rules: there are no rules EXCEPT ! You have to leave a comment (no ‘please enter me’) – don’t care what you want to talk about (my cleaning fetish? your dog? Tell your dog I said hi!). I’ll do a randoDOTorg next week.
So! Let the commenting begin!

OOOOHHHHH! DNEM but Caron is one of my faves. So generous
Portia xx
Wow! How very generous of you to offer this treasure to someone else as a giveaway. Like Mary B. above, I have never sampled any Carons and would love to remedy that. I adore violet scents, so I am particularly intrigued by Violette Precieuse. Thank you for spreading fragrance joy!
How fun! I had a bottle of Aimez Moi that I ended up giving to a friend – lovely but a little too sweet for my taste. I’m not sure if I’ve tried many other Carons.
Anita,
I’m completely with you on the healing rejuvenating power of cleaning up a corner of one’s world. Love doing that! Sadly, I never seem to discover little bags of treasures or forgotten purchases. So please enter me in your lovely drawing. Thanks!
Your dresser is…stunning, wondrous, #lifegoals. Your photo inspired praise word salad!
I love a good cleaning/decluttering bug, and say use that energy when it strikes. I’ve tried all the cleaning strategies. FlyLady. Kondo. Gramma’s German style cleaning. My longest run of success is with A Slob Comes Clean…her process of decluttering and creating cleaning routines has done best for me. Less and better, not done and perfect.
In that spirit, DNEM, but feel my wishes for good energy going your way. I bet you and everyone here smells fabulous even when cleaning. Hugs!!!
I haven’t tried anything by Caron but would love to. I live in a smallish city and no one carries them here. I am going to a big city soon and always try lots of perfumes while I am there. I may take those tiny zip lock bags so that I can save all of the tester strips. I really enjoy reading these posts everyday. Be safe with all the snow!
I love a bunch of mysterious samples! I just received a few the other day- Ormonde Jayne and Penhaligon (so good) but the Francesca Binachi ones were not for me. I learned the hard way that honey was not for me and whew they were tough scrub off..
I need to develop a cleaning fetish. (No need to put me in the drawing)
Haven’t thought about Caron for awhile. Don’t know if there is still a Caron store in NYC.
