Grab Bag of Samples Giveaway!

French Bulldog creamHey, it’s February!  That thing on the left, Cora, has had me a little busy the last week.  Yes, that is a bee sweater. She just had a bath and needed to be warmed!

I had planned to review that soon-to-be-released Atelier des Ors Iris thing today (Iris Fauve?  I think that’s it), but, yeah, she chases my hand when I type.  But it is great, and I’ll have more on that next week, along with a few samples to give away thanks to the amazing Josie at Osswald in NYC

This month I’m doing the random sample grab bag drawing, plus a sample of that new Atelier des Ors Iris thing.   Drop a comment to be entered, and I’ll draw from commenters for two sample grab bags.  If the winner has a special request for one or two samples, I’ll be happy to see if I can include those.

I have decided my next comprehensive review is going to be chocolate perfumes. Surprised me too, but I’ve found not just a couple that I really love.

Winners of the Frederic Malle complete sample set (I think I don’t have the Dries Van Noten) – Ingrid Chamberlin. Just click on Drop Us a Note at the top, send me an e-mail, remind me of what you won, give me the ten samples you want and get me your mailing address. I’ll send you a quick e-mail to let you know I got your e-mail and it didn’t land in a spam filter and then get it on the way to you.

Cora is SO cute!!! Not sure if you’ve done this drawing yet or not, but if not, please count me in 🙂

  • Lisa D says:

Looking forward to the chocolate perfumes review – I’ve always wanted a great chocolate scent, but haven’t ever found one that really suits. Either too candy-ish, not enough depth, too many other notes, etc.

LOL about Cora’s bee sweater. Looking forward to your review of the Iris Fauve and thanks for the sample bag drawing 😉

  • Erry says:

I’m so jealous of your knitting skills – I always say it’s hard for me because I’m left-handed (does that even make sense??), but it’s really because I’m somewhat uncoordinated (please don’t tell anyone! 🙂 ).
Thank you for the draw, and cuddles for your beautiful Cora.

  • Nemo says:

Cora is so cute! I look forward to more doggie pictures 🙂 I’m curious about the chocolate perfumes review, too! I quite enjoy Seattle Chocolate and California Chocolate from Olympic Orchids, myself.

  • Maya says:

Cora and her bee sweater are absolutely adorable! Makes me smile. A sample bag would be fun for this sample-a-holic. 🙂 I am also very interested in chocolate perfumes, not for me, for my daughter. She’s the chocoholic, but so far has not really liked any of the samples I have found for her.

  • windicindi says:

  • Jirish says:

Love your puppy! And you’ve reminded me that I really need to give my dog a bath soon. He’s pretty patient about it. Doesn’t have a cute bee sweater to warm him though.

Cute pup and what a great sounding give away! Thanks for the opportunity, I need to give our furry family member a bath tonight, have been putting it off because he always looks so miserable when we mention it, he hates baths!

    Oh, love sample grab bags!
    And Cora <3
My own little pet has been helping me get over a fever- by forcing me to rest. Whenever I sit or lie down she jumps up on me and settles in. And she's quite heavy. 😉

  • tfk31 says:

Cora is possibly the cutest puppy ever ( except for mine, of course) 🙂
Thank you for sharing her sweet little face with us and for the draw.

I have had good luck with Aqualine Chocolovers and Jo Malone Orange and Chocolate scents – looking forward to hearing about the rest

Cora is such a sweet little puppy that I’m willing to wait another week for your review-

  • Koyel says:

I wasn’t sure when Iris Fauve was coming out, so I went to my nearby perfumerie, which carries AdO, and asked about it. They had no idea what I was talking about >.< I'm so glad I wasn't making it up!

  • jjlook says:

I haven’t met a chocolate scent I wanted to wear on me, but I can handle theorema, which I’ve heard compared to chocolate orange candy?
    Thanks for the draw…

  • My grandparents had a dog named Cora that used to watch over me when I was sleeping as a newborn. Your Cora is adorable! Yes, please enter me for the giveaways. Thank you!

  • Ellen M says:

Love your puppy. So cute and the sweater is a hoot. Thanks for the giveaway.

  • GrandmaGaga says:

Although I have never met a candy bar I didn’t like, I just can’t abide chocolate in a fragrance, no way, no how! Of course, there are exceptions to every rule so who knows! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

  • Claudia S says:

Cute pup! I wish I had a little dog but my husband doesn’t. ? Thanks!

Oh, little Cora is so darling! Now I want bee sweaters for my pups. Sadly the textile arts are not my forte.
Something I’ve always wanted to try (but ends up on the back burner when I order samples) is SL Vetiver Oriental. Its getting to be time of year for vetivers and green stuff.
    Thank you for the draw!

  • Mocha says:

Hi Patty. Sorry, but that pic of Cora stole your post (and the stuffed animal photobombing in the background)! Cora is so adorable! What doggy bath products do you use on her?

    • Patty says:

I know, she steals everything – my knitting, my ipad, my phone, yarn. She’s very busy until she just drops into and exhausted sleep. I use one that’s got an oatmeal rinse? it’s anti-itch and really gentle, got it from my vet for Vinnie the EB.

  • Olivia says:

    Count me in. Thank you!

  • Doreen says:

Hi Patty! I’m new here and introducing myself. Cora is darling as is the bee sweater. Thanks for offering a give-away.
