It’s a great idea, but making us get 250 votes before your grant application will be considered is beyond annoying. I’m not really a DamnSpammer, but I sure feel like one! I’m worried about the Fur Babies and their Personal Planz if we win the grant. Someone (Rex?!?!) has typed in TUNZATOONAFSH over and over on my iPad. Vinnie has been off in a corner with Lynus snorting and groofling (it’s a bulldog thing, you just don’t know how to describe the sounds!) Regarding moving your WordPress site … I use a product called BackupBuddy for all my sites and my clients’ sites. With it, you can set up an automatic backup schedule, optionally backup to a cloud server (Amazon S3 etc), and create a migration script. To move to a new server, you create a full backup, create the migration script, upload the migration script and backup file, run the script on the new server, and you’re done. Doesn’t get much easier than that. Cost: $75 for two sites and well worth it.

It wound up being easier than I thought! Just put in a ticket at my new host, and they moved it all, I just had to repoint the name servers, and it was done.
I’m more perplexed about moving the other blog that’s wordpress.com and has a redirect on it to blog.surrendertochance.com. We can’t repoint the servers to stc, but need to figure out how to do the same thing we did with wordpress.com. Probably make a call to gator. 🙂

Yup, Rachel, that’s the Toyger baby. I lurve him, but Toygers are weird as shit. Every toyger owner I’ve met has bizarre, aggressive, sweet, lovable cats.
