Well, I am coming to the end of the dastardly Flu and the old honker isn’t up to 100% yet. I’m not dying or anything (the dramatics were thankfully brief and happened last week. I had a few posts saved up) merely swanning about with a limp (er) wrist to my brow and laying about watching daytime TV. When I’m not working that is.
I do have some things staring at me awaiting review, so there should be stuff to read about through the new year that’s not about the state of my nose. In the mean time here’s a photo of my desk with my trés gay Christmas tree assortment.

oh, ma petunia! Feel better, sooner!! Absolutely LOVE the Christmas Trees!
We’re nearing that Shortest Day thing – well, except for the fiends who live below the equator – and it’s just absurd! Pitch-black at 4:45!
Sigh
I know. I’ll be glad to get rid of that!
GAH! Being sick is a bummer Tom. Get well quick buddy.
HUG
Portia xx
I am pretty much over it. Just whorfing up hairballs
well, you do have more hair than the rest of us… (she says, jealously)
For which I am forever grateful..
Make the most of coddling yourself whilst you recover. I’ll add good thick hot chocolate to the advice of others
That’s always good advice!
maybe the lurgy continue to recede. definitely masks again — to defend from snotty toddlers and their sniffly parents.
that was meant to be ‘may the lurgy continue to recede’. Sigh.
Autocorrect. It’s nobody’s friend.
I try to avoid toddlers in general..
Oh, Tom — I hope you feel better soon! It is definitely that time of year, all sorts of crud going around…
Yes, loads of people hacking and wheezing. I bought more face masks.
I’m That Lady at the gym (which doubles as rehab) – walking around wiping everything down with disinfectant.
Yep. And I have my industrial sized bottle of GermX on my desk.
Feel better soon Tom!
Thanks! I’m feeling much better.
Hope you feel better soon, Tom. Make sure you’re getting enough vitamins. Drink fluids. Rest well. Watch some good vintage movies.
Thanks- I have my emergency-c and cranberry juice and a full complement of old movies
It seems Nothin’ is in this week. 🙂 Could it be something in the air? The holidays will be over soon enough. Then I can go perfume shopping again, well, after a bit of a wait. Found 2 nice and easy perfumes that I want bottles of – Maison Rebatchi Vanille Riviera and Marissa Zappas Maggie the Cat…from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. I love Elizabeth Taylor! This one makes me think of you too, Maggiecat. 😉
Once I can smell again I’ll have to check that out. CoaHTR is a great movie..
