5th Day of Violets

On the 5th Day of Violet perfume… the sleepy violet is getting no sleep.

No, I’ll wake up long enough to do Molinard Violette. This one goes on sweet and dry and a little dark, a smokey violet to my nose. This won’t take long, I love this one, definitely going in the keepr pile and maybe a full bottle down the line, but it needs the spritz test still just to see what it does all over.

Okay, off to work on the Best of 2005 post for tomorrow, woo-hoo! Sleep is highly overrated.

Violet frosting is a great description, SSG!

Elizabeth W’s is very pretty. I wish it has stuck with me longer, but I think I could justify a bottle just because it’s not pricy and you can just spritz away, and it’s not offensive even at overspritz levels.

I loved the clear freshness of Elizabeth W’s Violet. I wish I would have bought that one. I have Penhaligon’s, but it doesn’t move me. I just recently got Guerlain Apres L’Ondee and I’m very partial to this one. My next purchase is Laura Tonattos E. Duse.

Oh! And I love my KM Genie Des Bois.

Ah, the Molinard Violette! This one gets really rich on me … like violet frosting. Which, come to think of it, is Not a Bad Thing.

I’m doing the best I discovered in 2005 and loved. Not that debuted in 2005.

Mini of NN? Yeah, absolutely! I would love to try it, Cait! That’s so kind of you!

I can’t wait to hear the best of 2005 post! Maybe I should do one too. Is that the best that you discovered in 2005, or the best composed in 2005?
I never heard whether you wanted a mini of NN? Check out legerdenez today for the best of 1947!
