back excuse from Lee and PSA from Musette

Message from a sick Musette:

The Haiku winner is OrbWeaver! She came closest with 3 match-ups.   Scents (in order)  En Passant/Angelique/Bigarade (either)/Lys Mediterranee/Carnal Flower/French Lover/Fleur de Cassie.

Get in touch. baby.

And I’m out of sorts too. Insomnia due to restless legs = lower back nerve problems = whiplash neck = alignment treatment = serious spasms = grumpy twitch face.

I’m getting more mobile but this week is a write-off. Top tip – if your spine is out of alignment, get it seen to, and pronto!

Love to all.

  • Ninara Poll says:

I hope you feel better quickly! *hugs*

  • maggiecat says:

Hope you feel better soon! Massage and/or acupuncture can really help with muscle spasms (which I had a lot of following spinal fusion surgery but all is well now!) Take care.

  • Ms. Christian says:

How could I forget dear Lee?!

Traumeel ointment and/or a massage with arnica oil, tincture of valerian in a glass of wine(love that old socks smell) to relax your muscles.

Hope you’re up and about soon.

  • Jacov says:

I think nearly everybody got En Passant right, which I expected.

  • Madea says:

    Feel better, Lee.

I have some perfume oils I’m not using. Nothing special–one is lavender and another honey and saffron–but would anyone like them?

  • Mary says:

Lee– Ice on the spasms, a pillow under your knees at bedtime, soft pillows under each elbow to take the weight off the upper spine, and listening to something funny on the radio– that’s how I rode out my last middle age back spasm–xxoo warm tea, also.

  • maidenbliss says:

Congrats to OrbWeaver. Lee, sending healing thoughts to you!
Musette: it was a fun thing ya did. I thought someone
    would get them all.

  • Ms. Christian says:

I didn’t enter the Malle-ku (great word) but I was tickled by Musette’s creativity-and had I enetered, every one of my guesses would have been wrong.

  • Musette says:

Just so’s ya know – the only difficulty in that Malle-ku was the fact that everybody’s perceptions were their own – which was sort of part of the exercise – I was interested to see how YOU guys saw the Malles.

Not ONE person got French Lover wrong which either means it was the easiest haiku or….y’all have no problem imagining me as a loose tart! :”> ;))

And I think nearly everybody got En Passant right, which I expected.

The rest of the guesses were fascinating and opened my eyes to how others see/smell some of the Malles! And I thank you all for being such great sports about it and taking the time to guess!

    xo >-)

  • OrbWeaver says:

I’m thrilled that I got 3 right…although that is a low percentage overall. So sorry you are not feeling well….. for me it always seems like those kind of symptoms take too long to resolve…patience is not my virue.

  • karin says:

Ouch, Lee! Doesn’t sound good at all! Hope you have an awesome chiropractor or fixer-upper who can work magic on you and make you better. XO
