Hiya All,
Portia from AustralianPerfumeJunkies back to give you the winner of our competition. THANK YOU to everyone who entered because it was really fun for me to read your hopes and dreams for fragrance and the advertising surrounding it. Some of the ideas blew my mind and TSO Jin and I have been chatting about how imaginative and creative you all are. SNAPS!!! So, what was all the fuss about?
GIVEAWAY!!
The Question?
If you had a perfume for men who would you choose as the model? An actor? A model? A pianist? A writer or DJ? Maybe you wouldn’t want any person and a beachy scene would be in your ad. Come on, you are the Creative Director of an unlimited fragrance advertising budget.
Who would you use and what would the story, location and theme be?
How Could You Win?
You had to leave a message in the comments and one lucky reader will be winning a 5+ml decant I bought in a split of Musc Tonkin by Parfum d’Empire
Open to everyone worldwide who can give us a one paragraph ad idea and star/s.

And what I really wanted to say before I got sidetracked by myself: congratulations, Annie!
Thanks, Dinazad — but I missed this post! I suspect I’m too late now to claim the lovely prize…A
I have no idea at all as to scene, location etc. (run this question by me a couple of times – I might come up with something later on), but if it’s to be an ad for men’s perfume (men as opposed to boys), I’d pick Ruggiero Raimondi (operatic bass-baritone) as a model. You gotta admire a guy who was charismatic in his youth and is still sexy in his seventies…. Besides, there’s that voice! Actually, there are quite a few very good looking bass-baritones in opera (Thomas Hampson, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, or Mariusz Kwiecien for the younger crowd…). Why limit yourself to DJs and pop stars?
Oh YES! Great to read from you Dinazad.
