I thought about doing this tomorrow, and then later today. But we are all in different time zones and, to mess with Robert Frost, “I’ve got things to do and promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep”. So, it’s going up now.
Per Joe the Lab, I know I may look grumpy but actually I’m singing inside because I am getting hamburger for Christmas lunch.
I’m not yet sure what I’ll be wearing tomorrow perfume-wise, but it’s probably between Perfumer H Smoke, Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan or Lutens Arabie. How about you?
Anyway, best wishes for the ‘day’ whatever you’re getting up to and here’s hoping things are sane and pleasant. If you’re cooking I hope it goes well; if you have a dog I hope it doesn’t knock over the tree; if you have a cat I hope it doesn’t climb the tree to the top and cause mayhem; if you are someplace with small children, I hope they nap for hours after lunch; and if you have neither animals nor trees nor small kids I hope minor but not destructive excitement comes in another form.

I’m dog sitting in the AM so my friend can drop presents at her grandkids. Then we will watch old movies and eat. It’ll be lovely. I hope everyone has a lovely holiday, however you mark it!

Hosted both our 30something sons & the eldest’s girlfriend for our family get together. The 3 males got pickled & had a whisky tasting all before 4pm!
Buffet lunch included a delicious baked Camembert went down well.

We hosted the boys & the eldest’s girlfriend today. The 3 males got somewhat pickled including a whisky tasting, all before 4pm!
Buffet of a cheese board & pork pies with lots of pickles, including a baked Camembert. Delicious!
LOL! My dog is grateful my husband doesn’t allow pet costumes. She does have a hockey jersey though. 😉
We are having a lovely quiet weekend at home, sun is shining and everybody is healthy. The only sadness is missing mom, who passed away Oct. 8th, but I am remembering her fondly with decorations she made for us.
