Sweet Tooth Lemon Pie by Sabrina Carpenter

Hi Posse. I was trawling Surrender To Chance a while back, looking at what was new. Sweet Tooth Lemon Pie by Sabrina Carpenter came up. It was released 2025 and I like her music. In the basket it went. It’s been sitting here awaiting a spritz. So I did. It’s less than a week later and I’m nearly done with my 3ml decant. More-ish much? Hell yes.

Also, love the chocolate slab bottle. Apparently she used to live next door to a chocolate factory. How is she so rail thin. If I lived next to a chocolate factory I’d be dead.

Featured accords:
Top: Candied Lemon, Sugar, Bergamot
Heart: Meringue, Limoncello, Condensed Milk
Base: Graham Crackers, Vanilla Chantilly Cream, Tonka Bean

That first spritz is a LOT! Sweet Tooth Lemon Pie opens with a cream, condensed milk and biscuit base punch in the nose. It’s kinda gruesome. That lasts about a minute and suddenly the citrus arrives. A big old swirl of beautiful, sharp and juicy lemony sherbet. The biscuit base is still there but now it’s tempered.

I don’t love the first five monists but as soon as the fragrances major fireworks have blown off we are left with a sincerely wearable gourmand fragrance. Yes, it heavily references Lemon Meringue Pie (one of my absolute faves BTW) but it’s now a fragrance.

Once Sweet Tooth Lemon Pie hits this point it stays fairly linear. Pumping out a sweet, lightly lemon, creamy gorgeousness with a biscuit crust. A perfume dream of a dessert. Not like a Demeter exact recreation.

It’s not going to stand up against a Pierre Guillaume gourmand. Sweet Tooth Lemon Pie is just a bit too heavy handed for that. It will have you smelling delicious though. If that’s what you’re into.

I bought my decant retail at Surrender To Chance. Yes, they are my friends but I pay.
The last celebuscent I wrote about here was I Fancy You by Jessica Simpson. Oh, and Madonna Truth or Dare Naked two weeks ago!

Have you jumped on the Sabrina Carpenter fragrance train yet?

You know … I’d probably love this :D. I have some tolerance for goofy gourmands that aren’t pretending to be anything highbrow. Ulta in particular seems to be heavily stocked with that sort of thing now. Next time I place a StC order, it’s going in!

This sounds like a no for me, but I enjoyed the review! I’m not a tournament fan, as a rule – I have a long list of things I like to smell but don’t want to smell like, and pie of any kind would be on it. I do like citrus based scents, but not sweet ones. Some vanillas are ok, but not sweet ones. You may be sensing a theme here….
I had heard of Sabrina Carpenter but I’m too old for her genre.

No, but you are making me want to. I love lemon in practically anything. There was a restaurant here called Kate Mantilini (started by the Hamburger Hamlet people) that was such a favorite for a group of pals it was the default place to go, and about three blocks from my old apartments on Oakhurst and Maple. Which meant that I had been going for 30 years before the landlord jacked up the rent to the point they had to close. And there’s still nothing there. They had a lemon icebox pie that was to d.i.e. die for. Like a lemon meringue without the egg whites. So delish.

I could make it easily but having a whole one just sitting there would be dangerous.

This sounds like another in the line of lemon pie scents started by Zara A Sweet Pastry in Paris.
I’ve sniffed a couple of SCs other scents but they gave me toothache

Not for me. The note list does not appeal to me but I always appreciate a good review. It’s a much less expensive and more fun way of learning about a perfume.

I had no idea SC was doing scents now. I love a lemon meringue pie — just had a slice last night. But I don’t want to smell like one. Haha. Thanks for the review Portia.

I didn’t even know she existed until I saw her in a …Vogue (?) spread.

”It’s kinda gruesome “ made me nearly spit out my coffee!!! But the lemon meringue pie accord sounds yummy.

StC, I’m coming for ya!!

Had no clue who she was. Watched around 15 seconds of the Nonsense video and that was more than enough.

The notes list sounds well worth a spritz if I were to come across this though.

Not grumpy. Have you watched any of her videos. Twitch-making. The boy — it looks like a boy, certainly isn’t a full grown man — she’s making eyes at looks like some sort of sinister cuddly toy.

Someone told me that in the video I watched (a bit of) the ‘boy’ is actually her. So, she plays both parts.
